If it was you could support your claims. I have never seen you do that here.In that case we have something in common. My knowledge is also reality based.

You might want to redo that post because it came to me, not to SeekingAllTruth. But I wasn't addressing you, Tb.
However, I am very glad that becoming a Baha'i brought you to Jesus.
Regarding knowledge of God, aside from Bible knowledge, what other kind of knowledge do you recognize?
Anyone can SAY that and many people do... Got any proof?Immediate experience of God.

The problem with "direct experience of God" and similar methods is that one can come to "know" that Noah lived 450 million years ago.Anyone can SAY that and many people do... Got any proof?

I said proof, not truth. What type of proof?
Please don't tell me you think there is only ONE type of truth.
Only Jesus and the other Messengers of God had any direct experience of God.Direct experience of God has nothing to do with when Noah lived.
is that nobody except the Messengers of God ever had any such experience, and even that experience was not direct experience of God because it was through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not come to ordinary people or live inside of them, in spite of what Christians believe. The problem with "direct experience of God".....
You really should pay attention to the conversations that you butt in on.This obsession with Noah is worrying, SZ.
Direct experience of God has nothing to do with when Noah lived. You're off on your irrational tangent again.

You should suspect their claims before you would consider believing them. And there claims are just as suspect as anyone else's.

The Noah myth is a clear test of the degree of rationality of a Christian believers It is one step below a Flat Earth belief, which is also usually Bible based.
Both have to be employed. That's what has not been well understood. You are trying to determine what is true and what isn't by the brain. The Word of GOD is food for the Spirit.
Sorry, that is pure nonsense that is neither biblical nor scientific. And you still are claiming that God is a liar. Nor are you being consistent. The earth spoken of in the Bible is the new earth when it is transfigured. You should really do your research before you come and make a fool of yourself.
Both have to be employed.
The mind working through the brain is the power of the human spirit (rational soul). The soul is like a lamp and the mind is the light that shines through the lamp.
The best way to discover Truth is through the mind assisted by the spirit of faith. Anything else such as emotion can lead us astray. God gave us a mind to use for reasoning, but unless it is assisted by the spirit of faith, it cannot become acquainted with the divine mysteries.
“The human spirit which distinguishes man from the animal is the rational soul, and these two names—the human spirit and the rational soul—designate one thing..…
But the human spirit, unless assisted by the spirit of faith, does not become acquainted with the divine secrets and the heavenly realities. It is like a mirror which, although clear, polished and brilliant, is still in need of light. Until a ray of the sun reflects upon it, it cannot discover the heavenly secrets.
But the mind is the power of the human spirit. Spirit is the lamp; mind is the light which shines from the lamp. Spirit is the tree, and the mind is the fruit. Mind is the perfection of the spirit and is its essential quality, as the sun’s rays are the essential necessity of the sun.” Some Answered Questions, pp. 208-209
