Anyone worried about coronavirus?

If you are not elderly or sick, get a grip !

The overall mortality rate is about 1.5 %, and almost entirely the elderly.

Not one child under ten years old has died.
Teen mortality is extremely low, almost insignificant.

I gets rid of old boomers. I am sure some governments think that’s a plus.

I repeat - get a freaking grip people.

I'm elderly and sick at the moment - hopefully my cold is just that and not coronavirus - and I also have some lower back pain such that every time I sneeze I am in pain. :coldsweat: :D

"Be strong", I whispered to my coffee.

I know how you feel. Middle aged but came out of hospital in mid jan following a stomach op. Only recently has the nursing care stopped. Still tender. On top, all the time in bed has really aggrivated my back for which i usually have kinesitherapy if it troubles me. With the stomach wounds this was impossible until the last few days and it turns out my kinesitherapist is on holiday so waiting for him to get back and phone with an appointment.

Yesterday i started to sneeze, double whammy, back and stomach. Just hope its only s cold?

Well I hope you are soon better. I'm finding that Sudafed and ibuprofen seem to help so it's just as likely to be a cold, and hopefully the same for yourself. :D

No sudafed in france (that i have found).

Yesterday i was in denial but still have it today so i am using actifed jour et nuit. Seems to be working.

Get well soon.

My advice is (on top of medication) get to bed with a bottle of scotch and a hot man/woman

Well I'm making do with my usual tonic - wine. :D

PS Have been catching up on The Skewer on headphones (BBC R4) - that cheers me up. :D

Rarely do wine except in cooking where i make up for not drinking it.

Never heard it. Might give it a try

Tried and failed, all the background noises ruined the first couple of minutes, so... Not for me i am afraid

I will stick to IMC

Shame, worth sticking with - but it's not for everyone granted, some have hated it. :D The 'noise' is meant to be there.

I'm not buying any masks but I'm stocking up on chest cold medicine in case there's a run on it.

Yes, i got that the noise is integrated the program. It seems to me to be dyslexia of the ears. I just cannot cope with it

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
I sneezed loudly on a crowded bus last night, my wife said "yeah, that's what you need to be doing right now" I replied "I got back from China over a week ago, it's fine". You should have seen the looks. Good times.
