Impeachment hearings: Was it worth it?

Woke gremlin
I reckon this impeachment coup effort by the Democratic controlled House will ultimately fail to get Donald J. Trump removed from office. I hope the U.S. Senate as well as most American voters realize that any possible Ukrainian-Biden interference in the 2016 U.S. Presidential campaign should be investigated. Hillary Clinton's election campaign likely received financial support from the Biden family where Hunter Biden obtained millions of dollars from the corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma who has been funded by the formerly corrupt Ukrainian government whom the U.S government financial assisted when Joe Biden was Vice President; Ukraine in this round about way might have meddled in the U.S. Presidential election, which should be rightfully investigated by Ukraine as well as by our G.O.P. controlled Senate. Hence, our P.O.T.U.S. Donald J. Trump had every right to kindly ask the Ukrainian President to investigate possible Ukrainian interference in the 2016 U.S. Presidential election.
Dear god.

The level of self-deception in this paragraph is staggering.

How do you not understand this issue of corrupt, personal use of financial aid yet?

Many of us American taxpayers are sick and tired of our hard-earned tax dollars going to corrupt foreign entities, we are more than happy our P.O.T.U.S. would like foreign leaders to help us investigate how American foreign aid is being spent.
I can understand the investigation of the named company, but when Biden as Trumps challenger in the presidential election next year is smeared as hell just because his son is put on the board of a company in Ukraine. That I do not understand. Biden may well become a very good President if he wins. But I dont think America will gain much from 4 more years of Trump

Not after almost 20 years of fake war... How anyone can be serious about what is going on there?
I have no idea of what you are talking about. But I feel certain that the current exposition of utter failure to achieve even basic moral standards by the top executive should be a more pressing concern anyway.

Not sure what that has to do with Trump and impeachment process, because Trump, as far as i know was not in office that time :)
All started before Maidan, Russian just has done a few smart chess moves to avoid further surrounding. 911war us a petrodollar issue and Ukraina is too.

If you want to save really BIG money, trim back the military. We spend many times more than any other nation, while there is no foreign existential threat to the US. We're employing the military to maintain American hegemony while neglecting sorely needed infrastructure and social services at home.

I think you need to study America and Ukraine a bit more my friend. I love Russia in many ways, But not the smearing from Putin and his false claim toward Ukraine. And I am sceptical to Putin as a leader

Ukraine used to be part of the USSR so was originally Russian territory.

In fact, Ukraine was one of the founding members of the USSR.

Putin has done exactly what we would have done had one of the US states suddenly ceded from the Union and declared itself independent. Go after it to bring it back into the territory.

Well, I have been listening to Russia for many years and was very much against America for a long time. Then especially now in the time of Trump's presidency, i have been following more and more about American Politics, and even i am no fan of Trump or Republicans I must say that the impeachments process and study different things within American politics have made me realize a lot more about them then I did. And I also have known for a long time how Russia tries to smear America and its allies. And my conclusion is that Russia and America both are good at smearing each other, And they blame each other instead of aking good politics for their own country.

But for me as a Norwegian citizen, I think it would be best to know both sides and not be partisan for one party or side without knowing the facts first.

Russia was the largest of the USSR's Republics, but it was never the same as the USSR. I think that we can trust those who live in Ukraine to know whether they want to submit to Russian rule or not.

It did not invade anything, they are the same people run by several mafias.
Ever heard of Crimea?

It is not exactly hard to learn that Russia did in fact invade Ukraine.

Yes, i know this is his agenda, and I must say I disagree with him strongly on this point. I visited both Russia and Ukraine and I would say in my belief Ukrain is better off alone, away from Putin. But that is only my view.

Before Ukraine and Russia became one country, Crimea was not a part Ukraine, Crimea became a part of Greater Russia later. After WWII Communist party made Crimea a part of Ukraine due to administrative reasons. Most of people there are still Soviets, even if they Russians or Ukrainians or...the same in the East of Ukraine. Maidan was a rape of Ukraine kind of like Arab Spring.
