Besides Salix, like I asked Rival, why have subforums on food, entertainment, art, politics, science, etc., if all were supposed to talk about is religion. That's not a question. It's a statement.

You do understand the difference between a statement and a question, yes?

And you're assuming that all your supposed to talk about is religion. No one in this thread has said that but you.

Try Sci Forums. That's all they talk about is science everything.

Thanks. I think I am evolving, and I think this forum no longer suits me. At least it hasn't since that thread @Sunstone started a few months back, similar to this one, in which things seem to have changed for the worse there after.

Where RELIGIOUS people talk about *all things*

...Seriously @Rival, why don't you just get rid of all the science, arts, entertainment, food and other sub-forums if you want to have a boring forum that only talks about religion. This place is no fun anymore.
You don't seem to understand how forums work. There's usually a "main topic" of a forum. Here the main topic is religion and all the different issues surrounding it. No, you do not have to be religious yourself to be here, but it should be a big interest of yours. Forums usually have a "water-cooler" area where people can discuss off-topic or general things when they want a break from the main topic. That's how it works here. Not hard to understand.

You've showed your dominance well, in your posts, Salix. You're the 'big boss'.

Why do I have to quit whining? Why do you have to have attitude? Is this a pissing match?
You complained that all people want to talk about on Religious Forums is religion, whilst at the same time admitting we have subfora in which you can talk about anything else. So what is your problem?

Maybe it's that there is minimal traffic here, thus a lack of topics. Whatever the case, there's really no need for you and Salix to ransack my thread. But at least your agendas are obvious.

I am a religious person, but I have no interest in discussing religion with other people... For me, it's settled.

...What I would like to do is talk about science, art, history, and other topics with other religious and non-religious people. Where can I find a place like that?

How about the subforums here pertaining to those topics?

I spend most of my time in the Science&Religion or Creation vs Evolution forums. There are some pretty active discussions, although a bit repetitive.

So, no, you don't have to be a religious 'nut' to post here. You don't even have to discuss religion if you don't want to, although it tends to come up in most discussions since religious and non-religious people or even people of different religions have different takes on many issues.

But you should also not expect everyone to agree with your particular religious views and, in debate threads, you may well be challenged if you present a viewpoint as true without support.

In any case, I fail to see what your issue is. If you go to discussion threads on certain religious viewpoints, you will see discussion of religion. Duh. If you don't like it, try a different thread. If you can't find a thread you like, look somewhere else.
