I disagree,he's actually got thing moving, they tried everything to stop a "no deal" so he got a deal...

...by just caving in to having a border in the Irish Sea - something that had been offered before and both he and May had claimed that no British PM could possibly accept. Once again showing how utterly dishonest and devoid of principles he is.

Sure it's better than no-deal, but it's still going to be damaging, make people poorer, cost jobs, and probably lead to the break up of the UK.

Northern Ireland is and always has been a problem and the deals not perfect by any means on that and there's probably no deal where it would be.

After the referendum remainers were predicting the end of the world for us,none of it turned out to be true, what's been our worst enemy is the remains causing uncertainty and disrespecting a democratic vote.

We haven't left yet - and plenty of damage has already been done. The deal is nothing like to lies told to the people by the leave campaign and leaving will mean more job losses and people being worse off. If the Conservatives remain in government we will likely see deregulation and erosion of worker's rights as well. The racists and the rich elites will be the only ones to benefit.

"Yet" but we must, there's no going back, why wanting to leave equates to racism is just more scaremongering,it's all down down,we should get the deal done and heal the division in our country but instead the remain camp in parliament want to cause more division and expect another referendum when they have totally disregarded the first one, shame on them.

I didn't say wanting to leave equated to racism, but that racists might feel they've benefited; racism has increased since the vote (source).

The damage was done in 2016 when the referendum was called without any definition of what leave might mean, and the leave campaign promised that it would all be easy and we'd not lose out - which was a fantasy.

If you think it's all going to end if we leave with this "deal", that's a fantasy too. There will be years more of negotiations and continued arguments about how close we want our future relationship with the EU to be - and people will feel cheated when they lose their jobs and possibly their workplace rights. There's another deadline looming at the end of the transition period, when there could still be no-deal. And remember that the longer this drags on (and it will) the more pro EU the country will become because younger people supported remain and the old fools who voted for leave are dying off.

I disagree,he's actually got thing moving, they tried everything to stop a "no deal" so he got a deal, not what the remain camp wanted of course because it's essentially a hard brexit,no they actually want a deal that's so aligned with the EU we would still be in it.

I actually think Boris did well, compared to corbyn and Jo (I'm not really a Democrat) Swinson, starmer Abbot are embarrassing ly awful with the only intention of remaining in the EU and totally disregarding the democratic vote of the referendum, shame on them.

Hopefully they can get the meaningful vote next week, but we all know there will be an amendment put forward to tag a referendum to the deal, totally unacceptable and disgraceful,I hope for a general election so we can put labour and lib Dems into the political wilderness.
His deal is May's deal with Northern Ireland thrown under a bus, something that the ERG swore they would never do ... until yesterday

A leading Brexiteer, Amber Rudd said this morning: -

"Our government's own assessments are that this will hurt the economy by 4-6% a year... but I still think it's the right thing to do because we had the referendum in 2016"

Beam me up, Scotty

There's two sides to the negotiations and the EU are just as guilty,it's not like they'll say yes to anything much different, the EU have had enough and could do us all a favour and refuse an extension,I know some of the 27 feel that way, what's gone before needs putting aside and move on.

I'm not saying they're not - but all Johnson's deal is, is May's deal less Northern Ireland. All Johnson's cronies decried May's deal; Johnson's is worse.

A leading Brexiteer, Amber Rudd

AMBER Rudd resigned from her position as Work and Pensions Secretary in Boris Johnson's Cabinet over frustrations about Brexit.

The arch-remainer accused the PM of pretending to pursue a deal with the EU.

Johnson raised eyebrows when he invited the remain-backing former Home Secretary to serve in his cabinet.

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage tweeted: "Why did Boris give ministerial posts to all these Remainers in the first place? Confused thinking to say the least."
