Please state what part of Trump's policy indicates racism, because everything he's asked for: wall, immigration controls, and whatnot have been Democratic talking points for years in the past. They don't suddenly become racist because Trump said them...
I question your assumptions here, but what Trump has been doing is racist regardless of who does it.
Other countries are implementing policies, and no one calls them racist.
Let’s check that: you name another country that has tried to ban Muslim immigration and we’ll see how their policy has been described.
This is just bias, pure and simple, and doesn't reflect on any reality whatsoever. Thus again, the problem is in ones mind, not a reality, and not anything that a balanced person should rightly consider. We need immigration controls, we need protection at our borders, and we have a right to safety before the consideration of ANYONE outside of this country. That hasn't been done to an acceptable level, thus the perceptions of nearly half of the population that voted Trump. This isn't "racist" this is just being realistic with what the primary job of the government is.
No, that is racist. Really.
Namely, that job is to protect the citizens, as soon as it doesn't do that it isn't fulfilling its primary duty.
“Protect” citizens... from the races you think are more violent, criminal, etc.?
Styling those folks as neo-nazis, KKK supporters, or useful idiots is just demeaning and deceitful. The very fact that these words are even in the front of your mind illustrate exactly everything wrong with your way of thinking on this.
It’s not just “styling” them this way.
We have Trump describing white supremacists as “
fine people.” we have Steve Bannon, Sebastian Gorka, and Stephen Miller as White House advisors. We have a literal neo-Nazi -
the former president of the American Nazi Party -
running as a Republican candidate.
Certainly not all Republicans are racists, but the GOP seems to be the go-to party for racists.
And pointing out that you have ACTUAL Neo-Nazis in your party isn’t any sort of attempt to demean or deceive; it’s pointing out a literal fact.
