I feel American culture is threatened more by Christian fundamentalists than Islamists!

I agree. I don't think "Christian Fundamentalist" is the same as right-wing terrorism. Right wing terrorism seems to be more of a threat in the US.

Thanks for clarifying the difference between 'Fundamentalist and Right wing terrorist'. The only place I would (respectfully) disagree is that I think there is a ways to go before the "right wing" threat reaches the level of the suicide bombers such as the 911 attacks and others around the world that seem to be becoming more numerous. I suppose Timothy McVeigh (the OKC bomber) would be considered a "right wing terrorist".

Yeah, but she has a picture of (I'm assuming) herself as her avatar.:D

Ooops. I didn't really pay attention to that. I am an egalitarian so I have this terrible habit of treating men and women equally. Not like feminist who believe women are lower than men, and men should be held back so the womenz can catch up. Nope men and women are equal in my book. :D

Skanky Old Mongrel!
I thought the majority of the U.K was athiest/agnostic? Let me know if i am wrong.
I think that you are right. But I reckon that a fair % of agnostics here are 'social Christians'. They like the word. 'Christian' still helps many to feel comfortable.

I don't blame ya for being a glass half full kinda guy. You actually made me smile when i read your post. :D
:p

I've got no problem with fundamentalist of any kind disagreeing with LGBT folks on rights. Its effed up but they are free to so long as its just thought or even speech. Violence is where I draw the line though. Any fundamentalists group that is physically violent cannot be tolerated. And words do not equal violence.
Fair enough. But I think it's good to shake the fundamentalist tree, or to support LGBT rights through the media, because many voters can be so easily swayed.

This shows how many more terrorist attacks were committed by Right-Wingers rather than Islamists or Left Wingers. The site offers explanations for each marker. Go to Interactive: 9 years of homegrown terror to check it out.

David Weir, Dan Noyes, and Lowell Bergman founded the Berkeley-based Center for Investigative Reporting in 1977[6][7][8][9] in downtown Oakland, California.[6] This was the first nonprofit news organization in America who was focused on investigative reporting.[3] The Center’s first large investigation exposed the criminal activity of the Black Panther Party, a subject the organization revisited in 2012.[6]

Judging by the founders, they are on the left side, and not center, of politics and positions. Highly suspect as I view the map. Today... is it further left?

My "feelz"? What does that mean? What aspect of my post was my "feelz", specifically?

Btw, this is my source:
What the data shows on domestic terrorism perpetrators

From your own source;

Of those 225 deaths:

• 106 individuals were killed by far-right violent extremists in 62 separate incidents;

• 119 individuals were killed by radical Islamist violent extremists in 23 separate incidents;

Let that sink in.

Far right 106 killed in 62 instances.

Islamic terrorist 119 killed in 23 incidents.

All that tells me is that Islamic terrorist are far more efficient at murder. Yet your more think the Christian fundies are the greater threat?

That is an asinine assertion. Do you have any data to back it up or is it just conjecture?

Conjecture?

According to risk analysis research from 2016 by the libertarian think tank Cato Institute, since 9/11, an average of 9 people per year were killed by Muslim extremists in the U.S. By comparison - 37,000 people die ever year from traffic accidents and 12,843 are killed by guns.
Probability of Getting Killed by a Refugee Terrorist Is One in 3.6 Billion

Remember, statistically 75% if those car drivers and gun toting Americans are Christian

Strawman. The topic is fundamentalist vs fundamentalist.

Besides you cant compare accidents to intentional murder. And....

Gun violence in the United States - Wikipedia

And an exert from that:

Gun violence is most common in poor urban areas and frequently associated with gang violence, often involving male juveniles or young adult males.[14][15]Although mass shootings have been covered extensively in the media, mass shootings account for a small fraction of gun-related deaths[16] and the frequency of these events steadily declined between 1994 and 2007, rising between 2007 and 2013.

Most gun violence is from criminals. :D

Yes, because there are so many more of them. At least around here.

In southern Indiana, I am about as concerned about Islamic terrorists as being struck by lightening. As a gay atheist I have to be much more careful about Christians.

Thats because your being irrational. The data clearly says the Islamic terrorist kill more people using half as many attacks. This is fact, I did not source it, it was sourced by your side. You want to willfully ignore data, thats on you.
