Very Simple and straight forward. Here's a definition of White Nationalism from Wikipedia:

White nationalism is a type of nationalism or pan-nationalism which holds the belief that white people are a race and seeks to develop and maintain a white national identity. Its proponents identify with and are attached to the concept of a white nation. White nationalists say they seek to ensure the survival of the white race, and the cultures of historically white states. They hold that white people should maintain their majority in majority-white countries, maintain their political and economic dominance, and that their cultures should be foremost. Many white nationalists believe that miscegenation, multiculturalism, immigration of nonwhites and low birth rates among whites are threatening the white race, and some argue that it amounts to white genocide.

The poll is secret and knowing how difficult it is to hold unacceptable views, I will not make the results public. I realise the poll is imperfect and there is a lot of shades of opinion but this is better than nothing.

This is not about shaming people but is about hopefully making it easier to discuss the subject of race on both sides. I think the value here is simply figuring out how many White Nationalists are on RF, accepting that there is a presence on here (I think) and how we interact with them. Simply shaming and humiliating people, no matter how unacceptable their views are, will not change their minds especially if there are legitimate grievances feeding a problematic ideology. the attraction of extreme ideologies often comes from a refusal by mainstream politics to accept that certain problems exist combined with personal grievances that mean a person feels their voice cannot be ignored. Calling someone a fascist is not an insult to someone who believes in fascism. the discussion has to go beyond simply condemning people and trying to find ways to win them back over from extreme points of view.

Voted "I am not a White Nationalist".

Voted "I am a Nationalist but not a White Nationalist". I just believe in Western Civilization but on a cultural level. I can sympathize with the European far-right in that Europe is undergoing huge demographic changes at a rapid rate.

Is this because you are not White?

How about English speaking Nationalism? Nothing ruins my day quicker than people speaking Spanish.

When I was younger I thought that white people were superior to blacks because we had guns and canons while they had spears and shields. I thought if the world was black there would never be Internet, planes, cell phones, or landings on the moon.

Fortunately I've met enough good black people that my opinion has changed.

I'm not a nationalist but do resent some of eastern civilization. There is a reason why so many people want to move to America and Europe. So many countries are atrocious and don't provide significant welfare, healthcare, or free speech.

If I lived in a lot of those countries I'd be missing both my hands or be dead!

I was sitting in a restaurant on the east coast when I heard a man proudly retelling, to his family, a tale of his trip to a Walmart where he, when confronted by a cashier who spoke to another cashier in spanish, demanded that they "speak English damn it" and reminded them that they were "in America, now!"

The man, and his family, including two young children, seemed to get considerable joy from the story. I could only sit amd wonder why. Why was the story so funny? Why would anyone retell such a tale loudly in public?

I cannot seem to wrap my head around the offense some take to hearing another language in the United States. I have heard the sentiment before then. I have been in situations where language has acted as a barrier to communication, I have been in situations where people have spoken poorly about me in another language, but I still do not understand. Is it these things that fuel the emotion behind this? Is it some national pride about the history of English?

Thank you for ypur honest comments. I am not trying to attack you. And, I don't want to come off as just a "crazy liberal." I would like understand the frustration though. So if you can elaborate- why does hearing another language bother you?

I wouldn't be so rude to say anything, just keep my mouth shut and pray that it ends.
It sends my head spinning trying to keep up with how fast their mouths must move to speak it. It sounds hideous and since I don't speak it means nothing to me. I suppose if there is subliminal attachment it would be from fishing. Mexicans like to fish. Everywhere they fish they speak Spanish and leave piles of garbage. So when I hear Spanish I think of their piles of garbage.

I'm a nationalist, but only to the limits of my libertarian views. I don't believe in racial views at all. What I do believe is international co-operation. I don't think my views are strange at all, much of them were common sense not more than a decade ago.

As we said in another thread, Jesus loves Americans (English speaking) much more than he loves Mexicans (Spanish speaking), that's why Jesus only spoke English, its in the Bible (written in English)!!
