Offhand, I don't remember how Jeb was involved in that. But I guess he was advocating to not unplug her. How do you think Trump would handle such a situation if it happened today? That is, what would he Tweet about it?
TheUnrealDonaldTrump: That lying Hillary won't unplug, but I will make that plug great again by unplugging the #$#@ing covfefe.

YmirGF, I'm thinking you might be Trump's ghost-tweeter.

And I wouldn't pick Trump to tie his own shoes. Even Bush and Cheny were better than this idiot.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Being a Trump supporter is nothing to be proud of.

I like dynamite!

BOOM!

Tired of business as usual do nothing politics.

Trump was the alternative. A proper shake up. Looks like it is going to take four more years after Trumps first term if people still don't get the message to get serious and do some productive governing.

Sometimes it takes two blast's to remove entrenched rocks.

But Trump is the antithesis of 'productive governing'. That is part of the problem. Even Trump isn't serious.

Hillary is no longer running for office, and she lost the election. Why is she still a target for Trump supporters who are unable to defend Trump's words/actions?

Because she's a criminal who should have been prosecuted a long time ago for her crimes.

That's something we will have to wait and see until his policies take effect. I think Trump is crass and uncouth, but I do think he's serious enough to recognize that this country cannot stand much longer on do nothing politics.

The republicans have adopted the same method of argument as the tobacco industry use to try and use. "I don't have to prove I'm right if I can make people think you are wrong, then I am right by default." Donald Trump can't honestly give answers to questions being asked so they try to tell people not to trust the questions and it's fake news. And most trump supporters respond very well in favor of this type of argument because they use the same method for religion. They can't provide any evidence of God so they spend all their time trying to discredit the things they feel attack god.

What is there to defend? Let him defend himself.
I mean, when criticism is brought up about Trump's actions/words, his supporters seem to instantly point the finger at Hillary Clinton. Trump obviously is never going to admit wrongdoing and he absolutely will never explain himself (at least not in a comprehensible way). So, one would think his supporters would be the only chance to get some kind of an explanation.

Here are some examples:
1. He made it harder for Senate Republicans to pass the Health Care Bill for seemingly no reason by calling it "mean".
2. He claimed that he won the popular vote due to at least 3 million people voting illegally for Hillary Clinton without providing a sliver of evidence.
3. He said that President Obama illegally wiretapped Trump Tower in NYC without providing a sliver of evidence.
4. He stopped allowing any cameras in the White House briefings.
5. He seemed as if he had absolutely no understanding of what specifically was in the new health care bill. Instead of explaining to the American People why it was good legislation, he merely went out and said it was "great" or "better than Obamacare". He failed to actually explain why it is "great" or why it is "better than Obamacare".
6. He continually fails to keep his mouth shut when it comes to the Russia Investigation, when it is obviously in his best interest to do so. He would be much better served if he stuck to his agenda, but he keeps on attacking the Dems, Congress, Hillary, Comey, Mueller, etc. which keeps attention squarely on the investigation.
7. He has failed to explain why getting out of the Paris Climate Deal was necessary, as it was a completely voluntary agreement where countries set their own goals and held themselves accountable in whatever way they saw fit.

Because she is not in prison yet
The FBI investigated her and found no criminal wrongdoing. What more can be done? Obviously, it would violate her constitutional rights if she was put in jail without due process. They failed to find enough evidence to charge her with a crime.

Well put.

Many of those things are indeed areas of concern. I wish he would cease and desist with his Twitter rampages, but he seems to be under the impression that it is somehow doing him good. I also agree that his lack of specifics is problematic but he isn't a person who is used to explaining himself, so I don't know what to tell you. I am somewhat heartened that I'm not an American at this time in history.

Part of me is still caught by the comparison to George W. Bush. He crafted a persona that was that of a slow country bumpkin, the simple, non-too bright "old boy". Many people have reported their shock when they met with him in person and found an informed, cool as a cucumber individual who very much in charge person and asked very good questions.

I tend to think that Trump has to be similar in private and that his public persona is just a well crafted caricature designed to throw people off the real man. Well, to be sure, he has been rather successful in also putting a lot of people off, but hey... To his credit, I have not read a single report of anyone who has come away from a meeting with him saying what a mental midget he was or what an uncouth buffoon he was. Most reports glow about his charm and intelligence. In contrast to his public persona that is just plain weird reading. You would expect people running off to trauma therapy if they met with the buffoon behind closed doors.
