How is photography not a tool of Satan?

The Bible reveals artistic details of the tabernacle and temple, so such are not forbidden. Exodus 20:4 was forbidding creating objects of worship.(1 Kings 6:29, 7:36) See also 2 Chronicles 9:17-19, describing Solomon's throne decorated with statues of lions.
And the word of God's says "I reject the word of God you are idiots, i am going to marry mary and screw your word of god and not have her stoned to death". And eventually that was written down it became the word of God and the followers began to execute women for being adultresses!!! Stupidity seems genetic or reductive either way dumb.

Is photography prohibited in Islam?

According to Imam Afroz Ali photographs of humans or animals can not be displayed. All photography that is frivolous and indulgent is forbidden. This includes taking selfies where there is no real essence other than social posing.

But don't let your heart be troubled about deleting all your photos, photography is allowed if it promotes Allah, his messenger, or Islamic events.

Taking pictures and displaying them , music are jurisprudence issues. There are 4 different schools of thoughts and all have different opinions on these issues based on their ijtihaad. Ijtihaad is the legal term referring to independent reasoning or the thorough exertion of a jurist's mental faculty in finding a solution to a legal question
Scholars practice ijtihaad when there isn't a verse in the Quran or an authentic prophetic narration that mentions that it is clearly forbidden. Those scholars who believe these things are prohibited base it on their ijtihad. So to say that music and photography are forbidden in Islam is far too simplistic.

They also promote the killing of lizards. As a dragon myself not to mention the people who do hateful acts for Islam. I agree that other major religions such as Christianity have their own crazy groups but so far islam takes the cake for the most messed up. To ask the question about something being of the devil first ask the question "what flaws does allah (or any god in general) have" and you can't say they are perfect. The ones who say that are the ones you can not trust making

I don't believe digital photos are forbidden because you're not creating you are capturing an image.
I want to mention that there is no difference of opinion among the 4 (sunni)school of thoughts in regards to the prohibition of carving statues of living beings and drawing them. This prohibition is because it was associated with paganism and shirk(worshipping others Besides God).
In regards to music, I follow the more stricter opinion which is prohibition of listening to music that contain musical instruments.

I think this discussion on Quora shows the differences of opinios among the muslims

Why? Is it the poisoned ones?
They kill lizards because they believe that we are part of the bad side that they do not like although we lizards, and dragons are not more evil than them considering that evil is whatever you look at stuff as. It is ignorant to think your species is the most pure and that you have a right to belong to the earth because that is simply not true. Humans are overpopulated. We are not "poisoned" we are just fellow creatures on a world that the five dragons created.

Are you sure it's not salamanders?

Apparently, Saudis like to eat lizards but they also like to preserve them, according to this source:

“It is our hobby as young Saudis to hunt lizards, but we advise people not to overdo it in order to preserve this hobby and so that the lizards can continue to exist in our land,” added Al-Matrudi.

Still it involves the death of my kind. I don't care if they claim "preservation" or whatever word humans like to come up with to justify killing. All I care about is them getting a voice. Why not kill other non lizard creatures instead? I am sure they can sustain themselves on other food.

I think its a tradition. After all, don't they live in the desert? The word "Arab" means deserts and waste barren land well-nigh waterless and treeless.

They also eat camels.

They can eat camels all they want. The tradition of killing us lizards is aggravating. We dragons leave humans alone even when we were in our full sized bodies instead of these pathetic furless ugly bodies. A human kills a human and everyone freaks out. A non human animal kills a human they kill the creature who did that. Humans don't care about any other life but their own.

That is not what a graven image is.
Graven images are printing plates "engraved" with tools for reproduction. I don't care what some bronze age goat herders thought that the term meant. Those people didn't even know that the earth goes around the sun.
Tom

So they had printing presses in Old testament days, did they?

What would you call images carved on to the walls of temples then?
It is nothing to do with reproduction of images.

Long time ago I had a fellow tell me that anything that does not glorify god offends god.
I asked him how does taking a dump glorify god?
I have not gotten an answer from him.

Thus is the problem with black and white thinking.

1) Are you trying to claim you are a dragon, a dragon-kin, or is this a joke account?

2) Even if you where a dragon, a lizard would have less in common with you then a chimp does for a Human.

3) Morally we should not kill humans and certain other any animals that are of borderline rational sentience because they are able to think and feel. A lizard cannot.
