Is Hamas Being Delusional?

No, it's not Christian Zionism that's referred to as "replacement theology". That's a smear term that Christian Zionists use against Christians who don't agree with them and who follow the traditional Christian view on that matter.

So your Religion isnt based around the "fact" that Judaism was replaced by Christianity, its new Covenant and that you are the real Israel?

I could have sworn to have read something different a few days ago.

Hammas has said numerous times that their strength is that they crave for death (so they go to heaven) while Israel's biggest weakness is being afraid of death.

So I guess they did win.

Fulfillment is a better word. "Replacement" also makes it seem like Jews can't find grace with God anymore and that's not so. We've never called it "replacement theology".

Somehow I really don't see you caring.
I have been organizing Pro-Israel rallies.
I have had extremely great support from christians.
And they have told me why. They feel that G-D gave the jews Israel, and they come back to Genesis 12:3.
I would take a pro-Israel chrisian rather than an anti-Israel jew anytime.
I'm not telling you what to do, but I ask you not to encourage Christian leaders in this way. Many times Christian leaders here use Israel mania to promote delusions such as miracle healing services, belief in the end of the world, demonic exorcisms, their own personal validity as mouthpieces of God. While you are not at fault, they have a very negative impact on Christians and encourage people to live recklessly here. Over there you are celebrating a renewal, but over here they are celebrating the approaching end of the world. Its not healthy. Please look into it, and consider carefully whom you associate with.

Accurate as statements such as this may well be for all I know, they still worry me greatly and look like a very good reason to find evidence one way or the other. What is motivating the Palestinians generally and Hammas specifically?

Sure, we could simply file them up under "way out there", but that is hardly satisfactory. There must be something that can be done to truly understand their motivations and reach out in some way that is not military in nature.

Then you must not love the Jewish people that much Mike, because Christian Zionist are very very bad for the Jewish people. Jewish people are nothing more than a means to an end for them. They don't want peace or safety for Israel or the Jewish people, they want them to go to war and they want them to be persecuted in order to fulfill their prophecies and they will do anything to immanentize the eschaton.

Interesting observation. Whom do the Christian Zionists want the Jews persecuted by ? Christians, Muslims or both ? So all Christian Zionists are all haters ? Isn't that a bit of a broad brush of hatred ?

The only thing is that it is more of death of civilians and children, which they used as human shields, than the Hamas themselves.

Bunch of murdering cowards.

The forces of the Antichrist as per their eschatology. They believe that in the End Times the Antichrist will persecute the Jews and this will culminate in all the armies in the world converging on Israel to destroy it, when face with the armies of the Antichrist, Israel will have a change of heart, accept Jesus en masse and then miraculously he will come back to save the day.

Weird stuff. Christian Zionism is not good for the Jewish people or Israel. They want Israel to be in conflict.

Nice. But aren't some of the Christian Zionists non-literalists ? Or do they all believe this literally ? Is there no such person as a moderate Christian Zionist ?

What do you believe as an Anarcho-Gnostic ?

Only fundamentalist Christian zionists are of concern, and they are not haters on purpose. Like Hamas they just believe that things must happen a certain way before Jesus returns or before the resurrection or before all believers fly away into the air. They watch and give a little nudge here and there. Sometimes they give a big nudge here and there. There are multiple camps, but they all believe 1. Israel has to become a country 2. there has to be a huge conflict in which Jesus personally rescues Israel, himself. Mt. Olive splits under his feet, etc etc. People die.

Its perfectly plausible to support Israel's nation status without expecting Jesus to appear there. Most in this group would be the liberal progressives and some of the orthodox, possibly some Catholics (not sure about Orthodox and Catholic). LDS? No idea where LDS would stand on this issue. I think LDS though has a different approach to it entirely.

I can say from my personal experience and the ones that I deal with that is not true.

I love the Pro- Israel (zionist) christians. I work great with them.

In fact, a co organizer whom is christian, was three days in the hospital and was very sick there. He got out, and the next day he drove a bit to come to our Pro-Israel rally.

They are extremely dedicated to the cause.

They have told me why. They believe strongly that G-D gave the land of Israel to the jews, and that those that bless the jews will be blessed and those whom curse the jews will be cursed Genesis 12:3.

In fact I am in an alliance with several pastors in doing Pro-Israel rallies.

There is a big difference between labeling an individual who expresses anti-Semitism and labeling an entire branch of Christians as leaning towards anti-Semitism. The theology itself is not anti-Semitic.

Having said that, let me state that I am continue Covenant Xian, and place much importance on the OT, even more so than most Xians, by far, however this again does not influence, or should not indicate a stance on the state of Israel.

Hope is a nice thing to have, not too flashy. Some Christians don't celebrate the end of the world, and some also recognize that it isn't sinking into an increasingly bad state. Alarmists do. Its easy to get caught up, but things are not bleak everywhere. They are fairly rosy, and lots of good things are in the works. You could fill books with all of the good things that are happening in this time period.

Brick? Who is that? Has anyone seen Peter? I was just looking for him, so we could talk.

The preaching of repentance has given way to such as "prosperity doctrine", and for others, simply just going through empty motions once a week, because there are few quicker ways for an institutional "church" pastor to loose his congregation, than to preach about sin and repentance. You even find churches out there obsessing about their church's carbon footprint, and any other distraction they can find to avoid real preaching. But then....
Has anyone seen Peter?
Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find [it].
Amos 8:74 "And there shall appear a man named Peter knowing bits of arcane prophesy as it were like the back of his hand, and he shall speak not directly to people but as to them which are not present that they may not know from whence he speaketh as one that throweth the voice."

Pope Adrian I at the Second Ecumenical Council of Nicea: “Since certain, erring in the superstitions of the Hebrews, have thought to mock at Christ our God, and feigning to be converted to the religion of Christ do deny him, and in private and secretly keep the Sabbath and observe other Jewish customs, we decree that such persons be not received to communion, nor to prayers, nor into the Church; but let them be openly Hebrew according to their religion, and let them not bring their children to baptism, nor purchase or possess a slave.”

Pope Innocent IV: “We who long with all our hearts for the salvation of souls, grant you full authority by these present letters to banish the Jews, either in your own person or through the agency of others, especially since, as we have been informed, they do not abide by the regulations drawn up for them by this Holy See.” (To the King of France)

Do you know any Christian leaders that "encourage people to live recklessly" as Brick suggests? I would agree that there is no shortage of money grubbing heretic Christian posers, particularly now that we are so far into this prophesied "falling away" or apostasy, of the institutional "church".
FALLING AWAY OR APOSTASY

The preaching of repentance has given way to such as "prosperity doctrine", and for others, simply just going through empty motions once a week, because there are few quicker ways for an institutional "church" pastor to loose his congregation, than to preach about sin and repentance. You even find churches out there obsessing about their church's carbon footprint, and any other distraction they can find to avoid real preaching. But then....

Just look at what's happening in Europe, as the Christian remnant has all but disappeared and churches are converted into mosques, and antisemitism is stunningly-rapidly on the rise throughout the land.

I have the greatest admiration for the pro Israel christians.

Usually they are the evangelicals.
