There has been a cottage industry maintain by a certain type of RF member whose mission it is to tell Angellous what he believes.

So on this thread I invite everyone to participate in this practice. It would be good for those who slander me to see how other people perceive my beliefs.

You don't have to provide evidence unless you know that you're making a judgment based on a specific post.

I'll reserve the right to confirm, deny, or decline to comment on any issue that is brought up here.

Angellous doesn't believe we need to appear on Dr. Phil for a paternity test. He believes he's my Daddy.

On a more serious note I think Angellous is a liberal Christian.

I'll be honest, I don't know what Angellous believes but Angellous has certainly changed since I joined a few years ago.

Angellous of old, Gave me positive encouragement. Suggested good books to read and was overly happy.

Angellous of today, Is a little less positive, always feels challenged and doesn't seem as happy go lucky.

Angellous was interesting in the past and is still interesting today just a little less happy. Would like to see the happy Angellous again.

That's sad. I wonder if it's the Forum Effect - you know, years of being subjected to hostile, juvenile online bickering can bring a person down. I switched to RF a few weeks ago from another forum that was brimming with too much of that.

I'll try to work on that. There certainly is an "old Angellous" and a "new Angellous."

Right after I finished my exams and the prospectus for my dissertation - and I mean two days later - I had a mental breakdown and was hospitalized for two weeks. I'll never be the same - my brain works significantly different.

As for happiness, I was diagnosed manic depressent / bipolar. So yes, I'm not as happy. I go in and out of "happiness" and that will show in my posts.

Secondly, I'm mentally exhausted. I've read more than a thousand books in about 12 months, and I'm trying desperately to finish the dissertation. And I've run completely out of patience for people who treat me like a moron here.

You believe in unicorns who cry diamonds, but it's just cruel to make a unicorn cry, so you're quite torn.

I shall spread this rumor around after I eat breakfast.

When will your dissertation be finished?

I have no idea. I hoped for December 2010, then Spring 2011, now August 2011.

The end is like soap slipping out of my hand every time I try to grab it.

I've made significant progress just this week and I hope that can lay the groundwork for a downhill run.

Understandable. How far into it are you? More than half-way done?

I know a pastor/psychologist who had a breakdown after finishing his PhD. He was burned out, took a long break from reading, studying, and pastoring, but completely recovered.

Much luck to you.

Wish you well, I too went through a mental breakdown but for me it was a blessing. I was able to shed all my past demons.

Be happy, You are a great Human being and will eventually complete your goal.

It always comes back to bacon. Powerful truth if you let it sink in.
