Christianity vs Islam

Sorry Eselam I am not buying it. I understand the use of 'we' in grammar and the it is never used as a substitute for 'I' we always means there is more than one. If I have created something, I say "I have created it" not "we have created it" The latter necessarily means there is more than one creator.

suraj,
if you do not wish to accept this thats fine by me but please i would appreciate it if you didn't say that Allah reffers to a partnership when he uses the words "we", "us" and "our".
if you wish to furthers discuss about the word "we" and its meanings then thats fine, but do not say that Allah has partners, i hope you can understand this and accept my response.

So you are saying we is singular and plural but you do not know what plural means but it sounds good lol,oh dear i'm lost for words

look i had a feeling that plural means many but my english is bad so i just reassured my self by writting it again as a meaning of many. thats not a problem here is it?

Eselam you are more than confused :)

Has it occured to you the simplest explanation is you've been duped ;) Actually Mohammed's own scribe and beloved disciple left him after he realised what 'we' meant ;)

I suggest you google early Judaism. It was definitely polytheistic. The plural Elohinm is just one trace of that in later Semitic texts.

Sorry I do not buy at all that 'We' means 'I' in a majestic sense. That just sounds like a bad apology for polytheism.

Maybe you should try reading what actual Jewish scholars say as opposed to Christian and secularist imaginings and half-baked ideas based on a faulty understanding of Hebrew and/or Judaic theology.

Or, no, you can't be bothered to study the assertions of the entire religious Jewish Community because others know SO much more about JUDAISM!

the evidence is there that Hebrew monotheism evolved independently in Palestine, with the combination of the Chief god El of the native Canaanites with the warlike god Yahweh of a neighbouring group of invading semites.

judiasm is a religion of allah, and torah is a book from allah revealed to Moses (pbuh), what's make you think it's evolved?

Islam evolved sort of independently too,

again, what's your evedinces on that it's evolved?

you talk about quran as if it's a story book, such as "1 thousands nights and 1 night", did you even open it and read some?

LOL, yeah ofcourse
for myself, i don't go into nonsense arguments- with respect to all people here, i mean Sui told him (Suraj) before it's plural majesty as a language construct in arabic, but keep arguing in the same point in a way that doesn't add anything to the topic we talking about.

he has some convistions about islam, he raised a point, some people replyed to him, he still not convinced, more than that keep cyrcleing around the same point,,, so? what shall we do? right?

Suraj, allow me to ask this (forgive me if this offends you), do you realy know someting about Christianity and Islamic religion? Sorry but I think your knowledge about these two religions are insufficient and you misunderstood some of these religion's doctrines and beliefs.

Judaism is the religion of a people that has been shaped by their history, the evidence for the evolution of Judaism is right there in the Torah, and when used in conjunction with non-Jewish Canaanite religious texts the genesis of the faith is pretty clear.

I've read much of the Qur'an, yes, it's actually quite easy to spot where stories that would have been floating around in the 7th century were simply selected by Muhammad.
For example, in the 2nd sura there is the generic story of Jesus's life, but mixed into it there is a reference to Jesus creating birds from clay and bringing them to life - this little story isn't in any New Testament gospel but is found in a 2nd century fictional account of Jesus's childhood called the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, a book written specifically because people yearned for more stories of Jesus.

The evolution of Islam is actually pretty clear just from reading the Qur'an, the key is to read it in chronological order rather than the order the suras are found in the book.

I don't expect you to believe any of that as a Muslim, the post you responded to was actually written in reply to a non-Muslim member, so it's based on non-Muslim scholarship and understanding.

You need to indicate what I am wrong on, otherwise I have no idea whether your comment is justified or not. I have some knowledge on Christianity and Islam, yes, I have made sure that this knowledge is correct through reading. But if I am wrong all you need to do is correct me :)

give me proof from quraan or ahadith thatt this is the teaching of islam

Qur’an:9:5 - “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”
Qur’an:9:112 “The Believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed.”
Qur’an:9:29 “Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission.”
Qur’an:8:39 “Fight them until all opposition ends and all submit to Allah.”
Qur’an:8:39 “So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world).”
Ishaq:587 “Our onslaught will not be a weak faltering affair. We shall fight as long as we live. We will fight until you turn to Islam, humbly seeking refuge. We will fight not caring whom we meet. We will fight whether we destroy ancient holdings or newly gotten gains. We have mutilated every opponent. We have driven them violently before us at the command of Allah and Islam. We will fight until our religion is established. And we will plunder them, for they must suffer disgrace.”

"I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify to the fact that there is no god but Allah, and believe in me (that) I am the Messenger and in all that I have brought."Bukhari:V9B84N59"Whoever says this will save his property and life from me.'"Qur'an:8:73"The unbelieving infidels are allies. Unless you (Muslims) aid each other (fighting as one united block to make Allah's religion victorious), there will be confusion and mischief. Those who accepted Islam, left their homes to fight in Allah's Cause (al-Jihad), as well as those who give them asylum, shelter, and aid - these are (all) Believers: for them is pardon and bountiful provision (in Paradise)."
Feeling i've been here before, forgive me but does'nt that sound like convert or die or convert or pay for the priveledge not to but i suppose it depends on how much money you had as to whether you lived or died, pretty plain to see ---is'nt it
