Satan is even more of a figment of your imagination than Almighty God is, for not only is he an offshoot of God, but is given a spectacular amount of power by many people....Whenever something bad occurs and people don't want to question the creator, it is Satan which caused the calamity, even though he had to have been created by God. Therefore, the evil is just as much a fault of God as it is Satans. Satan is just the scapegoat for people that cannot, for some odd reason, put the blame to God...Even though this God supposedly created him....It is funny how it all works.
I agree.
Even in Job which I mentioned above, Satan only afflicted the title's namesake because God pretty much said, "Okay, do what you want with him." It is said it was to test Job, but I don't think Job needed testing; he seemed to know in his heart already his devoutness to God. Therefore God pretty much OK'd the ruining of one of his most, if not his most, devout follower, in the process killing his family who as far as we know did nothing against God. (You could argue that his family most likely were great sinners and "deserved" punishment; however, we are never told this, therefore, I'm inclined to believe the family was killed needlessly) All because God wanted to show off to his doubting jester that He is always right.
Many people i know find god repulsive. There are many things in the bible that are a bit shady. For example. Satan is cast out of heaven in genesis, and then in revelation he is cast out again. How did he get back there? And then in job he's walking around in heaven like its no big deal to go there. But then....the bible does not say satan was in heaven when he approached god. Angels walk on this earth all the time.
Really, not many Jews believe that and it's there book, last I looked.
Its my god the book talks about.

If you're a Christian then yes it does, but it was a Jewish God the book talk about before he was your God. And Satan is an Angel of there God, and did not fall according to them in genesis. Are you saying Jew are liars and don't know there own Holy book?

What has any of this got to do with where the throne of satan i? I believe satan is real, and i believe he had a throne and im wondering where it is now, or whether he still has one.

I know the scripture, but I take it as a symbol, not as a throne but the dwelling place or "seat" where Satan was present....Since Pergamum was referred to as the official center of emperor worship.....Worship of the emperor instead of God would make it a dwelling place or "hang out" for Satan.....But of course we are all entitled to our own opinion.....But I still don't see a literal throne.....Especially since it is in the book of Revelation which is mostly symbolism........Rev2:13
I know where you live--where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city--where Satan lives.

Yes, and if everyone only knew that everything that glitters isn't always gold.....Hiding one's true self, clever disguise right?Yeh...but thats boring isnt it? :beach: If satan walked around in the garden and he took authority from adam, why wouldnt he set himself up a throne? I dont expect satan to have sat on that throne looking like a gremlin. With a fork and really red computer eyes.Id expect him to look rather fabulous, glamourous and like an angel of light.

After all, for those who believe that Lucifer and Satan are the same being (which I don't), Lucifer was the most beautiful and grand of all the angels. It would follow through therefore that as Satan he would be able to recall his original splendor and appearance to fool people.
