Corn tortillas rule, especially freshly made ones!A few years back we had the same experience. I found it sad ... nothing of much benefit ... sugar, livestock food, ethanol.
Quite the waste of valuable land, in my opinion. Look at some of the alternatives ... soy, other grains, vegetables, fruit, lentils, solar farms, wind farms. It seemed to me that is was a microcosm for much of what is wrong with the planet.

Not much for cornmeal here, once I heard corn called pig food, not fit for human consumption. Apparently the nutritional component is about the same as sawdust. Field of Dreams was still a good show. Can't go that far.
