But still science is unable to escape "Death" why ?
Because death is essential for natural selection to work, we leave it to the religionists to spread the lie that they can cheat death and thus pretend to avoid the almost transcendental link that natural selection provides in bridging the previous generation to the next generation through the missing link: the current generation. After decades of prosperity and success,

A solution hasn't been found. Actually, I don't believe science has even been working toward this goal. After decades of prosperity and success,

"Decades of prosperity and success" somehow equals success of escaping death? Why?After decades of prosperity and success,

Yup. It's necessary for improvement. Death of the less efficient and birth of something more efficient is the process of improvement.Death is natural, why stop it ?.

I'm not a scientist, but my guess is is that the biological and genetic deterioation of the human organism via aging remains beyond our ability to prevent. We have however vastly increased life expectancy over the past two centuries (the figure is perhaps more dramatic than the real-life changes because of reduced infant mortality meaning more children survive beyond five years of age). life is longer at least if you are wealthy enough.
my suspicision is that science won't be able to change the natural laws of biological deterioation due to aging, but will still be able to extend life considerably. its only when you start to swap the biological for the mechanical, of flesh for machine, that immortality becomes theocratically possible. machine parts still deterioate but they can be replaced.
Except when you get to the issue of the brain, and then you realize immortality is just a dream.
It's just the main characteristic of organic chemistry. Carbon atoms. If we were made of rock, we would be more or less eternalAfter decades of prosperity and success,

Scientists generally try to abide by a code of ethics. To try and achieve immortality is an ethical minefield.
