Why can't people just leave the Jews alone?

Because the Jewish Taliban keeps stealing other peoples land.

Another simplistic excuse, rather like the old ones: "because the Jews poisoned the wells" or, "because the Jews murder children to use in their rituals" or, "because the Jews want to take over the world" or, "because the Jews murdered JC" or whatever.

If you want to talk about "other people's land", ask yourself, what land is Jewish land?

"illegal" settlements on the West bank and Gaza are a primary thorn aggravating the festering sore that fuels conflict in the middle east, they should be bull dozed and residents returned to Israel proper. Ties to Palestinian territory are historic but this does NOT entitle Israel to legal title, as espoused by the religious right who appear just as crazy and fanatical as the Taliban.

Should all of the settlements of Arab Muslim Palestinians be bulldozed as well and all the Arab Muslim Palestinian residents returned to Palestine "proper"? If Arab Muslim Palestinians live on Israeli land are they "stealing land that does not belong to them"?

I ask because I want you to be clear about what your rules are. And I believe your rules should be consistently applied to both parties. So far, your rules seem to be:

1. There is already existing an international boundary between Israel and "Palestine" and that each has land that is "owned" by them (a position unsupportable in law, btw).
2. That the presence of Jews on "Palestinian land" is not only problematic, but "the primary thorn aggravating the festering sore" (a position which you apply only to Jews).

That's simply not the case. According to the Hadith, once a land is Islamic it must always remain Islamic, therefore any presence of a non-Islamic state there is intolerable.

I'm interested in asking YOU, what land is Jewish land?

And if the Jews do have a land, why do they think it is necessary to carry out war crime after war crime?

If there is to be another Palestinian State, or two, the boundaries between them and Israel have yet to be determined in negotiation. The presence of Jewish residents on any of the disputed land does not constitute "theft" of Palestinian land. No more so than the presence of Arab Muslim Palestinian residents on any of the land constitutes theft of Jewish land. The idea that there is already a boundary is factually untrue. And the idea that Palestine must be Judenrein is morally reprehensible.

And Jews neither think its necessary to carry out war crimes nor do carry out war crimes. (And it is entirely inappropriate to accuse Jews of this instead of discussing the government of Israel). This article, in fact, points out that Israel often exceeds its obligations under the rules of warfare:

“We can further be categorically clear that Israel’s conduct in the 2014 Gaza Conflict met and in some respects exceeded the highest standards we set for our own nations’ militaries. It is our view that Israel fought an exemplary campaign, adequately conceived with appropriately limited objectives, displaying both a very high level of operational capability as well as a total commitment to the Law of Armed Conflict,” the report said. “The IDF not only met its obligations under the Law of Armed Conflict, but often exceeded these on the battlefield at significant tactical cost, as well as in the humanitarian relief efforts that accompanied its operation.

Israel is often falsely accused of crimes because people hold Israel to a different and unique standard which is not expected of any other military engagement in the world. And because Hamas deliberately and intentionally uses human shields and places weapons in or near schools, hospitals and mosques.
