Oh, dear. I hope neither of you suffers more than a little constipation.

I remember when my cat (who lived to be 18, which ain't bad, though at that age she was bloody grumpy) began having trouble breathing -- and the vet diagnosed heart failure and, well, then end happened right there. I felt like total ...well, that stuff your cat isn't doing.

We really do get attached, and they really are family. Don't care what anybody says.

Lucy came to us as a feral cat.
I guess she's about 15 years old.
