I know only two languages "Sweet" and "Chilli".
I don't say that i have very sweet tounge, but i pray that "God" may bless me the sweet Language only
I remembered one "Quote" on this, by guru nanak rigestered in GGS.

The two predominant languages in my area is Spanish and French (Canadian) albeit there are as well, a good number of asians mainly Japanese and Chinese that primarily visit as tourists.
I actually would love to learn more Japanese and Chinese (Mostly Japanese as I'm very fond of anime and film), but I'm utterly horrible at writing and interpreting the Characters without speaking or writing "engrish". I find that I'm better at interpreting those languages than with expressing them.
