What is incorrect with those humans who comment sarcastically?

Sarcasm is insincere in order to make a point. For instance, to issue an agreement with someone to a ridiculous degree, or to agree in such a way that makes the recipient of the comment understand that the person does not really agree, and that they really believe that to agree with such is actually quite ridiculous.

Granted, it is insincerity at its core, but its intent is NOT to deceive. On the contrary, the intent is to display the REAL truth as it is felt by the person employing sarcasm, and to get the recipient to feel and understand more the opinion of the person using the sarcasm.

Sometimes stating things plainly simply does not work. Sometimes people simply need to be mocked in order to understand and feel how ridiculous they make themselves appear.

This happens because they feel taken from, insulted or annoyed by this person and they really want to take a jab at them.

They tease them, in order to feel important and of value themselves. Don't you agree?
Yeah, I don't agree with this assessment at all either.

More often than not, the person using sarcasm is trying to get the target to realize how self-important they are portraying themselves - and to try and knock them down a few pegs... or even try to get them to laugh at themselves, or at least not take themselves so terribly seriously.

 Truth: You are over weight

Lie: Yes, you are skinny

White lie: You lost a few pounds, you're not over weight

Sarcastic:

Ha. Yeah, you are overweight, aren't you.
or
Yeah, I agree with you. You are overweight

These two aren't lies. They are jests. The first is negative and the other positive but neither changes their position. The person is still overweight. A lie has a different position. It's literally saying something that isn't true regardless of how it is said and intent. It's just, false.

Truth: :) White lie:  Lie: :D Sarcastic: ;)

No, that's more religious.
Like when somebody says,"It's not that I hate you, your beliefs, your tattoo, your country, and your dog. It's God who does!
But don't worry, you're free to go to hell if you want. Because God is a disbeliever in compulsions."
