I do not think it is all a ruse. I do think Trump's PR staff is prepared to spin any/all failures regarding the border and immigration against Dems for 2020 and the next round of Congressional elections. The GOP needs something to cover their failure when it had a majority and those members that voted for the spending Bills counter to their rhetoric.

Wow so there os a lawsuit against Trump using his veto power to go against congress to get his emergency money by the state of California. He wont be able to pass it through congress because both Republicans and Democrats will vote it down, people are trying to pass the law so he wont be able to do that.

A big bunch of people who are being thrown out of their houses on the street and have no where to live if the wall gets built are taking Trump to court which has to be done with before he is allowed to actually build, so if he gets to build it, could be 5 years from now LOL.

There are actually a bunch of others trying use the courts to vote down the wall. Looks like the whole world is against trumps wall except Pence and his followers wow!

Sense Trump promised y'all a wall built way earlier then now wonder what you ll think about the wall that never get built LOL!

I do not think it is all a ruse. I hope that happens, because many in Trump's base will only hear excuses. After this, if Trump still can't produce a wall, his chances of even surviving the primary won't be looking very good. Calling a nation emergency was probably the worst thing he could have done, because time is ticking and if he wants a second term he has to get a significant chunk of the wall done by November 2020. He could have played it on the Dems, but he gave that up. For Trump, having declared a national emergency, it's do or die.

President Trump will build sections of the wall. I predict that sometime next year you will see him standing in front of a completed section campaigning. Visuals are powerful things. He will campaign on “finishing the wall”.

The Mayor of El Paso says Trump is wrong they have had very little crime and says theres none of that yous aid going on. The one woman who spoke against getting the wall because they are forcing her off her land says her Dad is a police office who patrols the area where the wall will be built and says theres little to no violence out there.
So no that's not funny and hey its not going on. There has been several law enforcement folks who are claiming what you say does not happen so.

Meth is the biggest addiction in drugs in America made in America so is Pot and alcohol and prescription drugs. Did you know pot and prescription drugs are just doors that lead to cocain and Heroin, get rid of that and teh drug problem goes.

If he'd make prostitution legal it would cut back on under age prostitutes.

And most of us citizens in the border states, as well as law enforcement, don't perceive any crisis.

And most reasonable people would be concerned about it only if these "intruders" posed a problem.
If, as the economists say, the intruders were a positive benefit, they might even encourage them.

So just because Trump sent that letter makes it true? LOL we knew what Trump says about crime, but its been proven false. I have heard BTW a thousand times on the reality tv show Intervention that is the worst drug addiction the one has the highest amount of people addicted to it and its made here in America.
