True or False

Doesn't the sudden appearance of The Carpenter and His deification give you pause?

Doesn't the fact that His face and symbols are now plastered all over the majority of churches dedicated to the God of Abraham and Moses seem like a major contradiction to the first two Commandments? Would either of them have had any truck with a trinity, given the constant hammering on The ONE and only True God?

Strikes me as profoundly irrational and exactly what the warning you mentioned was against.

indeed....
of Himself He did say.....brother and fellow servant

and of Himself He did say....do not call Me good
no one is good but the Father

so.....it is also written.....Ye are gods.....

and here we are.....
dare we claim to be good?....in the face of God and heaven
dare we put on?...as if we are more than mortal

if immortality is ours to have......are we good gods?
or bad gods?

and as we are approached by God and heaven
will they draw sword?
or hand you a robe and a ring for belonging?

To menit sounds like a call for atheism.
well....ok....
I can see why you would post as you did.....

but that would need a declaration .....there is no god
good or bad
and that declaration would include another.....
there is no greater form of life than what we see
no life in spirit
not a chance of it

I don't believe that this is true. At least, not what you seem to be saying.
I believe in an afterlife, sort of. It doesn't include me, the individual with the identity and body. Just my soul released from that illusion of being separate from God and the rest of Creation.
I believe that my soul is that part of me that is part of God. When I die that part goes back to God, just as my meat goes back to Creation. Same as everyone, and every living thing ever.

I just don't claim to know this. It's a matter of Faith. So I don't expect anyone else to believe me.

I have similar belief......

but I say.....there's not much point in forming a unique person
only to lose him in the dust

we keep what we are

and hopefully we can walk with grace among the angelic

in the meantime.....is there Someone in the lead?
and how do you know if you are not deceived?

The only way not to "have false Gods before me" without presuming to know how to decide whether a God is "false" is by having no Gods whatsoever.

If that bothers any real or fictitious deities, that is for them to deal with.

if God is true to Himself......doesn't your denial make you a target?

Uh, no it does not.

What else could I possibly answer that would make logical sense?
ok .....you want logic
would that include ....the greater likelihood?

or are you bound to ONLY those things tangible and physically verifiable?
