The Third Coming of Christ

Actually I was wrong. Jesus is not a serpent. I know nothing about the truth on his millennial rule. What I have written is not all true. I guess I am lost. Sorry I hope nobody reads what I wrote. Do not believe what I wrote coz I have no truth right now. I am sick psychologically. I have a mood disorder and I say things that have no basis. I am under medication though. I hope Jesus forgives me. I am sorry Jesus please forgive me. Or Venatoris you can delete your message please so nobody reads mine. I already deleted the original.

I could do that but I'm in a ***** of a mood right now and if I delete my post nobody will know what you said. We can't have that now, can we?

Did anyone mention that the Hebrew calendar considers right now the year 5770?
Correct. Hebrew Year 5770 = 2010 in Roman Years.
Most Hebrew writers still date thier books this way.

We, muslims, believe in Jesus also. And there is many histories in Qoran and in the words of Mohammad (SAV) about Jesus. He was born without a father and he will come to the world again we beleive in this also. I did many research about this. I read islamic and christiannic ressources together.
Finally, Jesus when he came to the world again there will be an anti-christ and he will figth with him.

Now what I write here are my comments I don't say this is the reality but I did so many searching about this.

My first comment
Jesus when he lifted to sky he was 33 years old. According to islamic ressources 1000 years is a one day near the God. Then we can suppose jesus travel took 2000 years (going-back) plus 33 years he can come in 2033.

My second comment
who is anti-christ? I did so many search about this. Islamic ressources say anti-christ (deccal) will come from North. Prophet Mohammad SAV says
''He will come from North. When his first day is 1 year, his second day is one mounth, his third day is one week and his last day is one day''.
This is commented like this
Anti-Christ will come from Siberia. In Siberia one day took 6 moths of sun and 6 mounths of night and when you approach from Russia one day is one mounth then Anti-Christ will come from Russia andcan we say ''The Communism'' is Anti-Christ? I say Yes the communism is Anti-Christ
because islamis ressources say that muslims force will not be enough to figth with anti christ and muslims and christians will unify to figth with him finally Jesus will kill AntiChrist. But the same islamic ressources say: a few people (10-12 persons will know Jesus in the world the others will not understand who is) I think Jesus came and kill Antichrist in the years of 1990. Remember the cold war. The figth of muslims in Afganisthan against Russia. The efforts of Holy Father against Communism. the efforts of USA. Muslims and Christians acted together.

As I say this is not the reality but they are my comments

I thought it was the second coming we are looking for? But something seems to be
wrong here. Christ said: "Behold, I come quickely.......". Revelation 22:7. 2000 years later does not seem like "quickely" to me. So lets take a look at this, see if we can solve this mystery.

The quickly seemed strange to me, too. But then I thought about what it says in the Gospel of Adam and Eve (apophrical text). It mentions how the days are counted differently by God than it is by Humans. God tells them about something that is going to happen in...what was it....5 and a half days I think it was. Adam freaked, then God told him that 5 and a half days meant 5, 500 years. So, if that is a proper time correspondence, then 2,000 years to us would only be 2 days to God (and so, I suppose to Jesus) which would be pretty quick by their account of time. Just not ours.

If communism is the Anti-Christ then Jesus already came to the world and completed his mission in 1991-1992 according to the comments herebelow
''Moreover, in the world of humanity, the secret society of the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will overturn civilization and subvert all mankind's sacred matters, with the intention of denying the Godhead. A zealous and self-sacrificing community known as a Christian community but worhy of being called "Muslim Christians," will the reality of Islam, and will kill and rout that society of the Dajjal (Anti-Christ), thus saving humanity from atheism.

It says in narrations : “The Dajjal’s (Anti-Christ) first day will be a year, his second day a month, his third day a week, and his fourth day a day.”21
None knows the Unseen save God, this may be interpreted in two ways:
The First: It is an allusion and sign that the Great Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will appear near the North Pole or towards the north. For close to the North Pole the whole year is one day and one night. If he comes a day’s journey in this direction by train in the summer, for a month the sun never sets. If he comes a day further in this direction, the sun is visible for a whole week. When I was a prisoner-of-war in Russia I was close to this region. That means it foretells miraculously that the Great Dajjal will attack from the North in this direction.
The Second Interpretation: The three days refer to both the Great Dajjal (Anti-Christ) and the Islamic Dajjal having three periods of despotism. With elevated eloquence it informs the Umma that “in his first day; in his first period of government, he will perform works so great they could not be performed in three hundred years. On his second day, that is, in his second period, he will carry out such works as could not be carried out in thirty years. In his third day and period, the transformations he will bring about could not be brought about in ten years. While in his fourth day and period he will be reduced to the ordinary and do nothing, only try to maintain his position.”
THIRTEENTH MATTER
There is a definite, sound narration which says: “Jesus (Peace be upon him) will kill the Great Dajjal.(Anti-Christ)”22
The knowledge is with God, there are two aspects to this:
The First Aspect: It could only be a wondrous person with the power of miracles who could kill and change the way of the awesome Dajjal (Anti-Christ), who will preserve himself through wonders, bestowed on him by God in order to lead him astray, such as magic, hypnotic powers, and spiritualism, and will spellbind everyone. And that person will be Jesus (Peace be upon him), who is the prophet of the majority of mankind, and whom most people follow.
The Second Aspect is this: It will be the truly pious followers of Jesus who will kill the gigantic collective personality of materialism and irreligion which the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will form —for the Dajjal (Anti-Christ)will be killed by Jesus’ (PUH) sword— and destroy his ideas and disbelief, which are atheistic. Those truly pious Christians will blend the essence of true Christianity with the essence of Islam and rout the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) with their combined strength, in effect killing him. The narration: “Jesus (Peace be upon him) will come and will perform the obligatory prayers behind the Mahdi and follow him,”23 alludes to this union, and to the sovereignty of the Qur’an and its being followed.
FOURTEENTH MATTER
It says in a narration: “The Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will draw his main strength from the Jews. The Jews will follow him willingly.”24
God knows best, we can say that in part this narration’s meaning was fulfilled in Russia, for the Jews, who have been persecuted by every state, gathered in large numbers in Germany in order to take their revenge. Then, due to the important role he played in the founding of the revolutionary communist party, the terrible Trotsky, who was a Jew, took over the leadership of the Russian Army, then the government after the famous Lenin, who had trained him, and they set fire to Russia and laid waste whatever it had achieved over a thousand years. They showed that they were the secret revolutionary committee of the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) and they carried out some of his works. They caused serious upheavals in other countries as well, and fomented much trouble.
FIFTEENTH MATTER
The events involving Gog and Magog are mentioned concisely in the Qur’an, and there are some details of them in narrations. Those details are not firmly established like the concise but incontrovertible matters of the Qur’an, and may be considered allegorical. They require interpretation. Indeed, they need to be interpreted, for the narrators’ interpretations have been mixed in with them.
Yes, None knows the Unseen save God, one interpretation is this: it is an allusion and indication that just as the Manchurian and Mongol tribes, which in the heavenly tongue of the Qur’an are called “Gog and Magog,”25 together with some other tribes, several times overturned Asia and Europe; so will they again cause chaos in the world in the future. In fact even now some of them are famous anarchists, and anarchy is born of communism.
Yes, socialism sprang up in the French Revolution from the seed of libertarianism. Then since socialism destroyed certain sacred matters, the ideas it inculcated turned into bolshevism. And because bolshevism corrupted even more sacred moral and human values, and those of the human heart, of course the seeds it sowed will produce anarchy, which recognizes no restrictions whatsoever and has respect for nothing. For if respect and compassion quit the human heart, those with such hearts become exceedingly cruel beasts and can no longer be governed through politics. Just the place for the idea of anarchy will be those oppressed, numerous raiding tribes, which are backward in respect of both civilization and government. The people who fit those conditions are the Manchurian, Mongol, and some of the Kirghiz tribes, who caused the building of the Great Wall of China, which is forty-days’ distance in length and is one of the seven wonders of the world. Expounding the Qur’an’s concise statements about them, Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) predicted their appearance miraculously and precisely.
SIXTEENTH MATTER
It says in a narration in connection with Jesus (Peace be upon him) killing the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) : “The Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will have a colossal form, he will be extraordinarily big and taller than a minaret, while Jesus (PUH) will be very small in comparison.”26
None knows the Unseen save God, one interpretation must be as follows: it is an allusion and sign that quantitively the spiritual community of mujahidên who will recognize Jesus (Peace be upon him) and follow him, will be very few and small comparatively to the ‘scientific’, physical armies of the Dajjal (Anti-Christ).
SEVENTEENTH MATTER
It says in a narration: “The day the Dajjal appears all the world will hear. He will travel the world in forty days and have a wondrous ***.”27
God knows best, on condition such narrations are completely sound, they miraculously predict that in the time of the Dajjal, the means of communication and travel will have so advanced that an event will be heard by all the world in a day. It will be shouted out by the radio and will be heard in east and west, and will be read about in all the newspapers. One man will travel the whole world in forty days and see the seven continents and seventy countries. These narrations thus miraculously foretold the telegraph, telephone, radio, railway, and aeroplane ten centuries before they appeared.

Jesus said "all these things will happen before this generation pass away"...and guess what, that generation passed away and the world did not end. I think there is ample proof either Jesus did not have the ability to forsee the future, or the author of the gospels added that bit. Either way it was wrong, so using the bible to predict the future is inherently a bad idea. :D

Prophecy in the Bible was a very tricky business. You had to be sure you were right because false prophets had some pretty hefty punishments (for one thing, it it was actually false, the prophet wouldn't even be recorded but stricken from the record, not to mention killed).

Within the generation, didn't they have like Nero or something? And the horrible mess of the fall of Rome not long after? A thousand and a thousand years later, this puts the timeline a thousand years or so early, meaning the world end instead is 3000.

But this is assuming our time. Prophecy used prophetic time, which is not based on the passing of the sun but on causal chains (the number 1000 is just a big round number in other words, and "very soon" in God's time might mean, if you're already dead, eternity will make it all happen really quickly). So yea, elect run things until about 1065 or so, and then all the bad folk/demons are out again, and you see governments being pulled by the strings with secret societies and such, and progressively crappier leaders. World ends in 3000, assuming it isn't skewed "day is a century to God" thing in which case it's a really long wait.

wrong here. Christ said: "Behold, I come quickely.......". Revelation 22:7. 2000 years later does not seem like "quickely" to me. So lets take a look at this, see if we can solve this mystery...

Monomonk (& to anybody else interested in considering),

IF Jesus came back, what diference would it make?
When he was on earth, did he "save" people as they hoped, or did he TRY to save them spiritually, but that's not what they wanted, so they had him crucified?

Christ is not Jesus' last name, but what he became & encouraged everyone else to follow his example and become. Christ is "annointed one" - a more godly approach to thinking, feeling & living.

The bible has been through many corrupt & confused hands... changing the story as time went along. They say that the story of the resurrection was added 400 years AD. To understand scripture, we need to study, think & then use intuition/spirit in harmony with logical reasoning to find beneficial truth.

Jesus did not focus on external things, but the spirit of things.
Taking things literally ignores the meaning of "parables."

Why would Jesus focus on the future... when God is "I AM that I AM"?
God is not, "I was that I was" nor is God, "I will be that I will be."
Spirituality can only be experienced in the moment - now!
You cannot feel anything yesterday or tomorrow - only now.
You cannot feel anything in a tree or in a church, only within YOU.

"And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them & said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom (realm/experience) of God is within you." -Luke 17:20-21

In chapter 20 of Revelation we are told that Satan will be chained up for a thousand
years, and that Christ will live with his elect for a thousand years, then after that the
devil is let loose again for a while, then after that is the end of the world.

Here is what I visualize happened: Satan goes before
God and says: "Look, you gave that son of yours a thousand years to be with his elect, now give me a thousand years to be with my elect." Sounds reasonable, so that is what I think happened. So now, after Satan's thousand years
......
Hi,
Satan is given a time though, if you back to Ge:1 time included seasons and in the OT there are 2, winter and summer, 6 months each, it would seem that a 'little season' is a period that is shorter than 6 months (180 days)

Re:20:3:
And cast him into the bottomless pit,
and shut him up,
and set a seal upon him,
that he should deceive the nations no more,
till the thousand years should be fulfilled:
and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Matt. 14: 25
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

Christ will come four times (four watches).

First Watch ~ Jesus (God) came to earth in human form

Second Watch ~ Jesus will take "morning of the first resurrection" saints off this earth (Second Coming)

Third Watch ~ Jesus will take "afternoon of the first resurrection" saints off this earth (Third Coming)

Fourth Watch ~ Jesus will return with his saints of the "first resurrection" to earth, and will destroy the world and those who remain on earth (this is represented with the illustration in scripture referring to the sea that Jesus walked on, the sea representing those billions of people/humanity left on the earth, when he comes the fourth time, in the fourth watch, and tramples under his feet the "wine press," in his wrath, upon the remainder of the peoples of this world.

I would not want to be at the receiving end of his anger when he comes the fourth time to destroy the world.

Millenial reign of Christ will begin when Christ renews this world into a paradise once again with the New Jerusalem city built upon the American continent by God (Christ).

fourth time?
