There is no command for Sabbath keeping for Gentiles......the Law was only given to Jews who have the option to still maintain the Sabbath if they wish....but the Law is no longer binding on Non Jews.Oh my!
"Here is the patience of the saints,
they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

But at what point did the Jews become non-Jews? It was probably some centuries before anyone saw the Jesus followers as anything but yet another Jewish sect. There is no command for Sabbath keeping for Gentiles......the Law was only given to Jews who have the option to still maintain the Sabbath if they wish....but the Law is no longer binding on Non Jews.
Torah that it applies forever. Forever. Not “until moshiach comes”. The Sabbath commandment says that the Sabbath must be observed by servants of a Jew. Christianity says Jesus is a Jew. So if you are a servant of a Jesus you are bound to observe the Sabbath. There is no command for Sabbath keeping for Gentiles......the Law was only given to Jews who have the option to still maintain the Sabbath if they wish....but the Law is no longer binding on Non Jews.
When they severed ties with Judaism....you know, when the Jews were trying to kill them. How many times did they stone Paul? But at what point did the Jews become non-Jews? It was probably some centuries before anyone saw the Jesus followers as anything but yet another Jewish sect.
Jesus answered that question actually.....Not for salvific purposes, but we still have to try our best to do them.
So then, if we just do faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law?
No way!
Absolutely not and Jesus demonstrated that the Law was important for the Jews because they were the only people born into a dedicated nation. By birth, they were under obligation to keep the Law. But Gentiles were under no such obligation.... Jesus reiterated which laws would carry over in Christianity and the "new covenant" so no one was left in any doubt.Only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.
Should we steal?
Should we commit adultery?
If God told a group of people in 1437BC that He didn't like them getting tattoos, eating unclean meat, or laying down with men as they do with women, do you think He's OK with it now?
What will it get us?
Will we defile the land?
Will the land, the earth, vomit out it's inhabitants?

I just did it.
I rested, and did not work.
I stayed in my place.
Now the fun is over.
Six days I am commanded to work, six days you shall work.
Torah is very clear and explicit that the Sabbath commandments are forever. G-d does not lie. Jesus affirmed the Torah.Sorry, I don't see it that way at all....Jesus came to fulfill the Law, and so it ended with the old covenant being done away with. We see ourselves as under the "new covenant"....the one foretold through Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:31-34) It is not like the old covenant at all. We are free of the Law that binds even today's Jews to laws that they cannot keep. Since the sacrificial laws are still in force for you, why can Jews no longer offer their sacrifices? If the Temple is a necessary requirement for the offering of sacrifices, why has God never commanded that the third Temple be built?
Even as wanderers in the wilderness, Israel had the Tabernacle because God saw to it that his people had the means to have their sins forgiven....what could possibly be the problem?
