The Restitution Of All Things

Everything & everyone.

There are wonderful verbs in the Scriptures. One of them is metaschēmatizō.

The power of our Lord enables Him to bring everything under His control by way of this wonderful verb.

"But there's far more to life for us. We're citizens of high heaven! We're waiting the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ, who will transform our earthy bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He'll make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he is putting everything as it should be, under and around him." ~MSG

Everything & everyone brought into conformity within Him!

The apostle Paul writes, "Christ came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh." -Eph. 2:17.

He simply could not have preached peace had he preached an endless despair in hell!

Paul was a faithful minister of the Master for nearly thirty years, and yet the word hell is not found in any of his sermons or epistles!

Can this omission be accounted or on the supposition that he believed there was a place bearing that name in eternity, to which all are exposed?

He says, "I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God." -Acts 20:27.

An endless hell can be no part of God's counsel!

"No chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them that are exercised thereby." -Heb. 12:11.

The punishment of God is limited.

If they are endless there can be no afterward, as the apostle declares.

" "Faith the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen. -Heb. 11:1.

A person may have faith in the doctrine of endless punishment, but he cannot hope for it.

That dogma is no part of Christian faith.

A person cannot only believe in the benign doctrine of universal reconciliation, but he can hope for its truth with all his heart. That is the right faith.

In the first book of the Bible we read, "And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good." -Gen. 1:31.

In the last book of the Bible, the writer, in a vision, says, "every creature" which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I, saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever. -Rev. 5:13.

In the beginning man was pronounced by his Creator VERY GOOD, every way adapted to the stage of action on which he was placed. The Revelator, by the help of God, saw all mankind raised to a higher state of existence, for which also they were created, and heard them blessing their Creator for his infinite goodness, and adoring their Savior for redeeming love.

Such was the beginning of our race, and such will be its glorious consummation. "For God's pleasure we are and were created.?

Praise the Lord all the ends of the earth! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Speak good of His name, for He is good, and his mercy endures forever!

In Love's service, only wounded soldiers can serve.

"You're blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule. You're blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you. You're blessed when you're content with just who you are, no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought. You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God. He's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat. You're blessed when you care. At the moment of being care-full, you find yourselves cared for. You're blessed when you get your inside world, your mind and heart, put right. Then you can see God in the outside world. You're blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That's when you discover who you really are, and your place in God's family. You're blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God's kingdom.

Not only that, count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens, give a cheer, even! for though they don't like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble." ~MSG

"Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. He had equal status with God but didn’t think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what. Not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human! Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn’t claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death—and the worst kind of death at that—a crucifixion. Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father." -msg

Not Perfunctory Genuflections

That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow (ινα εν τω ονοματ Ιησου παν γονυ καμψη). First aorist active subjunctive of καμπτω, old verb, to bend, to bow, in purpose clause with ινα. Not perfunctory genuflections whenever the name of Jesus is mentioned, but universal acknowledgment of the majesty and power of Jesus who carries his human name and nature to heaven. This universal homage to Jesus is seen in Romans 8:22; Ephesians 1:20-22 and in particular Revelation 5:13.

Under the earth (καταχθονιων). Homeric adjective for departed souls, subterranean, simply the dead. Here only in the N.T. -(A.T. Robertson)

The unlimited reach of God =

"For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: by which also He went and preached to the spirits in prison; which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was in preparation, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water....Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit."

Preached = euangelizō =

To bring good news/ announce glad tidings

The joyful tidings of God's kindness.

Disobedient = apeitheō =

To refuse/withhold belief.

To refuse belief and obedience.

Non compliance.

The dead = nekros =

Lifeless/ breathed his last.

Deceased/ departed.

Destitute of life/ without life.

Live = zaō =

Live, breathe, be among the living.

Not lifeless, not dead.

To be in full vigour.

Elementary Principles=

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment."

Leaving elementary principles requires the work of God....

"And this will we do, if God permit."

Child = paidion

1. A young child/ little one/ infant.

2. One recently born.

Son = huios

Complete refinement =

Faith like all aspects of our Father begins in Him. The called out ones know they live not by their faith, but the faith of the Son of God.

The Lake of Fire is an experience of all that is left of the natural man coming to an end. The only individual not "hurt" by the second death is the overcomer, who cannot be hurt any further. They have been hurt over and over again in the mighty movings of the Prince Leader of reconciliation.

Do you know how the ancient refiner knew when he was finished, and the heat could finally be turned down?

It was when he looked into the cauldron and saw his own reflection in the shining silver. As long as the image was muddy and rippled with flecks of slag, he knew he had to keep working. When his face finally showed clearly, the silver had been purified.

Our Father sees when His refinement is complete.

Damnation

There are exactly 11 verses (in the KJV).

In 3 of the 11, it is directed towards none other than the Scribes & Pharisees.

What is damnation?

koine ktisis =

1. Judgment

2. A sepaaration.

3. A decision given (right or wrong).

4. Condemnation & penalty.

Koine krima =

1. A decree.

2. Condemnation of wrong (mild or severe).

3. That to which one is sentenced.

Questions =

1. What is greater krima?

2. Why is (perrissos krima) applied specifically to Scribes and Pharasees?

3. What is the difference between perrissos krima & standard krima?

4. Standard krima applies to those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

Why?

Christ's name, and office, is Savior.

You shall call his name Jesus (which means Savior), for he shall save his people from their sins. -Matt. 1:21.

All people = the dead and the living.

All things are given to Christ.

Here we are told that he will save them, (remember, he is called the Savior of the world), hence his very appropriate name.

In the character of God, as exhibited by the spirit, the works, and the whole life of Christ, we find an irrefutable argument for universal salvation.

Jesus appeared on earth in the character of a Savior, not of a destroyer; a friend, not a foe of mankind; an impartial and kind benefactor of all, not a capricious revenger of pretended or real wrongs.

When persecuted, he retaliated not; when reviled, he reviled not; when reproached and scoffed at, he did not curse his foes.

His whole life was one continued exhibition of love, benevolence, and compassion.

It is emphatically and truly said of him, he went about doing good.

To the poor and needy he was condescending and humane. He gave health to the sick, feet to the lame, ears to the deaf, speech to the dumb, sanity to the lunatic, bread to the hungry, forgiveness to the sinful, salvation to the lost, and life to the dead.

Ever merciful and mild, he compassionated the sufferings of every condition.

He wept at the grave of Lazarus, his friend, and also over the approaching woes of Jerusalem, where resided his bitterest foes; and even for his bloody and cruel murderers he prayed on the cross, and in the agonies of death at their unfeeling hands, besought his Father for their forgiveness.

If we would know the character of God, we must study the character of Jesus

If we would know how God will deal with those who love or hate him, his friends and foes, we should learn how Christ dealt with those classes, for he was God manifested in the flesh, was the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person.

The character of Christ is the character of God; the tenderness and compassion that Jesus possessed for all men, the good, the evil, is that which God possesses for all mankind.

If our heavenly Father is as benevolent, compassionate, and forgiving, as his Son, will he bless or curse, save or damn our race?

Will he be merciful or unmerciful to us?

Will he favor us with everlasting life, or curse us with everlasting death?

Will he take us to heaven, or shut us up in hell?

Will he permit us to enjoy his presence, or put us in possession of the devil?

At-one-ment YES

Separation NO!

A long range plan

renderTimingPixel.png

What happens if....

https://www.philhenrypowergospel.org...r-message-128/

"It is in Him, and through the shedding of His blood, that we have our deliverance--the forgiveness of our offences--so abundant was God's grace, the grace which He, the possessor of all wisdom and understanding, lavished upon us, when He made known to us the secret of His will. And this is in harmony with God's merciful purpose for the government of the world when the times are ripe for it--the purpose which He has cherished in His own mind of restoring the whole creation to find its one Head in Christ; yes, things in Heaven and things on earth, to find their one Head in Him. And you..." -F. W. Weymouth

"Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth." -MSG

Facts

God is supreme in everything.

His will is set safe and secure within Himself.

The created does not displace the Will of the Creator.

He will reconcile all within the heavens, earth & underworld.

Nothing escapes His loving grace: absolutely

NOTHING!

Ta panta = the all

The little ta joins panta: not pas, but ta panta.

"God has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that in the name Jesus, every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and in things under the earth; and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

NOTE

1. Every knee (the radical all).

2. Every tongue (the radical all).

3. Every dimension of heaven, earth & underworld. (the radical all).

4. In union with the Name of Jesus (en = in).

No being in any dimension of Fathers world will not worship Him.

The worship is not by perfunctory genuflections: NOT

Hermit Philosopher

Selflessly here for you
"Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets."

1. What is it?

2. What it is not.

3. What are the Scriptures pointing to this?

4. Who are some of those who have grasped the "Larger Hope"?

We are playing out a “code” (book/tree of Life) that abstractedly has no ethical aspect (is neutral), but manifested - as worldliness - results in lots of things that do.

Worldliness plays out in what, to God, may resemble a human nanosecond, but to us, is experienced as the whole time of existence.

Once the code (book/tree of Life) has been fully played out, it is said that God will judge/assess its results (Judgement Day). All that It concludes (ethically) “bad”, will be removed from the code (book/tree of Life) and only the ethically “good” will remain.

We who are here now, will physically die before Judgement Day. “Heaven” is [the] a state of being in which our souls [will] dwell until the code (book/tree of Life) has been amended.

I have not been “told” what comes after that.

Islam has 99 words for God. One expression not in the ninety nine words is Father.

"Our Father" is what the Lord Jesus Christ responded when asked how to pray. God is not merely a Judge, He is Abba, a term of intimate union and communion.

A new unprecedented Day draws nearer as Abba brings to consummation what has always been in His heart, to restore the all back to Himself.

Especially is not only

renderTimingPixel.png

Salvation in our Lord begins with His first awesome touch of Spirit and continues in past, present and future. We indeed need saving, and the Specialist is none other than the Lord Isous.

"God is the Saviour of all mankind" (not some of mankind, ALL)

"especially" (especially is NOT only)

"those who believe" or "those who trust Him".

"Command & teach"

There is a common thread running through those who resist the overwhelming love of God to restore every broken sinner back to Himself. It is presented in various styles, the foundation being we must do something.

Friends: repentance is "granted" by our God, faith is His faith, (those who live by the faith of the Son of God. We stand before Him naked and blind and broken as hopeless beings in need from a Hand from above.

Tetelestai is the perfect tense of the verb teleo which is derived from telos (a goal achieved, a consummation, a result attained) and means to bring something to a successful end, or to its intended or destined goal.

It does not mean just to complete a task but to carry it out fully, to bring it to the finish or to perfection.

The cry of the Christ is a word of finality. “It is finished, it stands finished, and it always will be finished!” His work of redemption is complete and nothing can be added to it.

"But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the sweet aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere."

This is the purpose of our journey in union with our Lord.

thriambeuō =

To celebrate a triumph.

The root of thriambeuō is a hymn sung in festal processions.

When the Saviour of all mankind declared it is finished, the thriambeuō began back into our Father. The magnificent hymn of all hymns continues to sweep every broken wreck of sin Home!

Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve. It’s not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you’re already in—insiders—not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin.... God raising you from the dead as he did Christ. When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive—right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ’s cross. He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets." -msg

"I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery. All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else...Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him...His power extends over everything....Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin." -MSG
