"God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing." MSG

The world = the kosmos =

The universe.

The ungodly multitude.

The whole mass of alienated mankind.

Reconciling = katallasso =

Changing/ exchanging those at variance.

Return to favour with God.

Our God specializes in katallasso

His long range Plan has been conceived within Himself with consultation with none of His created ones.

"You, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

Having forgiven = charizomai =

To show oneself gracious/ kind/ benevolent.

To grant forgiveness freely and graciously.

To restore.

The Divine Equation =

"Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."

Note

1. Condemnation upon the radical "all mankind."

Result = "many made sinners."

2. Justification of life upon the many made sinners through the obedience of One making the identical polus "righteous."

Two heads one outcome

Adam1 = many made sinners.

Last Adam = many made righteous.

All = all...

many = many...

some = some.

One outcome for sinners

Meaning of adj. perfunctory =

Done routinely and with little interest or care.

Acting with indifference with little interest or care.

Done mechanically or without interest or zeal, merely for the sake of getting rid of the duty.

Done in a half-hearted or careless manner, or so as to conform to the letter but not to the spirit.

Meaning of rote =

The use of memory usually with little intelligence

Mechanical or unthinking routine or repetition.

Done in a joyless manner.

Meaning of en in koine =

Koine en =

A primary preposition denoting (fixed) position in, by with.

Shall bow = kamptō =

To bend the knee in worship. NOT perfunctory genuflections!

"en" in koine is NOT "at", but "in".

"I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear."

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage...23&version=NLT

"Being recognized as truly human, He humbled Himself and even stooped to die; yes, to die on a cross. It is in consequence of this that God has also so highly exalted Him, and has conferred on Him the Name which is supreme above every other, in order that in the Name JESUS every knee shall bow, of beings in heaven, of those on the earth, and of those in the underworld, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

If you grasp what it means to be ἐν Christ Jesus our Lord, you are ready to grasp what this glorious declaration of our Lord means when every being in every dimension of heaven, earth, and underworld bow and confess ἐν His Name.

ἐν = in, not at.

God is salvation, it is His middle Name.

He is not potential salvation: God IS the Saviour of all mankind!

According to the common idea ones salvation is made to depend almost entirely on his own personal efforts.

"God has made all necessary provision; he has prepared the feast, spread the table, and sent out the invitation; now if you will accept and persevere you will be saved; but if not, you will be lost; God can do no more for you; he has made all needful provision; now your personal salvation depends entirely on yourself; this is the way the matter is usually put, and thus God is practically left out of the question in the salvation of the individual; each one is taught that his future well-being depends on himself personally; if he will fulfill certain conditions God will do his part, but if he fails in these conditions God can do nothing more for him, and all that he has done will go for naught so far as he personally is concerned." -A.P. Adams

God's plan is not dependent on you, but Him.

Christ prayed for the whole world. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word. That the world may believe that You have sent me. " ~ John 17:20-23.

Jesus then prayed that the world, all mankind, might believe on him, might know him, whom to know is life eternal.

Would Jesus have prayed thus if vast segments of the dead were then beyond the reach of mercy, and that God would consign unborn zillions to a region of hopeless despair?

Why pray for all if mercy could only reach a part? Could he have prayed in faith for all, if he had known that most were already damned endlessly, and that multitudes yet to live would be? Impossible!

The angels of heaven desire the salvation of all men. "There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents." -Luke 15:10. They, therefore, desire that all may repent and would rejoice with exceeding great joy if all should do so. Is not that benevolent desire of the angels a righteous one?

Will not the Creator cause it to be realized? We are commanded to pray for all. I exhort, therefore, that supplication, prayers, etc., be made for all men. -I Tim. 2:1

God, our Father, would not require us to pray for all if it was not his purpose that salvation should be universally experienced! Partialism contends for this absurdity.

The all-wise God commands his creatures to ask him to grant what is not, never was, and never will be, his intention to bestow!

The Lord Jesus Christ will be worshipped by every being of the heavens, earth and underworld!

This worship is NOT by rote or perfunctory incantations and surely not a genuflection.

Noun genuflection =

An act of bending the knee or touching it to the ground in reverence or worship.

On the grand and final consummation, when every will shall be subdued to the will of good to all, Jesus Christ will take in hand the resigned chordage of our hearts. He will tune them as so many instruments, and will touch them with the finger of His own divine feelings. Then shall the wisdom, the might, the goodness of our God, become the wisdom, might and goodness of all His intelligent creatures. The happiness of each shall multiply and overflow in the wishes and participation of the happiness of all. The universe shall begin to sound with the song of congratulation, and all voices shall break forth in an eternal hallelujah of praise transcending praise, and glory transcending glory to God and the Lamb. ~Henry Brooke

At-one-ment = Divine Chordage

Magnificent Overflow =

The Master of the Glory does all things well. He clears the air of the human condition, the disordered mess of struggling humanity to set it right once & for all.

The band-aid of the Law has been swallowed by the Spirit of the living & breathing God.

Our Father Abba = magnificent overflow.

Romans 8 | MSG Bible | YouVersion

"The whole of created life shall be delivered/ set free from the tyranny of change and decay..."

The Letter to the Romans is a masterpiece that speaks to us of a Day of all days when the futility of change and decay ceases with deliverance by the One who has made us subject to disobedience "not willingly", but "by reason of Him who made it so" .

The curse of sin has its limits, ultimately to be swallowed by the Lord of zao life.

"No more let sin and sorrow grow, nor thorns infest the ground, He comes to make His blessings flow

Far as the curse is found.

"If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

εἴ τινος τὸ ἔργον κατακαήσεται ζημιωθήσεται αὐτὸς δὲ σωθήσεται οὕτως δὲ ὡς διὰ πυρός

Anything (any product) one undertakes to do.

I don't believe anyone "experiences salvation"... nor do I believe that God loves only Christians and that there is a place in Heaven only for Christians. I believe that every last person who has ever been born is a child of God. I believe that He wants all of us to return to His presence someday. The idea that learning and commitment and progress cease at the moment we die is a totally nonsensical idea in my opinion. God's timetable is different from ours and His love and mercy exceed ours a million times over....We as human beings see death as an ending, the falling of the final curtain. God sees it as merely a transition from one state of existence to another. It's not just what we learn during our mortal lives that matter. We will never cease to be cognizant beings, capable of making decisions and learning new things forever. Death absolutely does not mark the end of our opportunities. To put it another way, I believe God has provided a means by which virtually everyone who has ever lived will have the chance to understand what Jesus did for them, and to know the steps that they need to take to be reconciled to God. It doesn't need to all happen during our 70 or 80 (or quite possibly even less) years here on earth.

Thank you Katz

His purpose = salvation

renderTimingPixel.png

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

Condemn = verb ἐσῴζοντο =

To separate/ put asunder.

To pick out/ select/ choose/ prefer.

To determine, resolve, decree, judge.

But to save = verb ἐσῴζοντο =

To save/ rescue from danger or destruction.

To save from peril/ injury.

To save a suffering one.

Our God is the Saviour of all mankind.

He has come to save the suffering ones and ἐσῴζοντο each and every one of them.

The Scope =

renderTimingPixel.png

"It is in Him, and through the shedding of His blood, that we have our deliverance-the forgiveness of our offence-so abundant was God's grace, which He, the possessor of all wisdom and understanding lavished upon us, when He made known to us the secret of His will. And this is in harmony with God's merciful purpose for the government of the world when the times are ripe for it-the purpose which He has cherished in His own mind of restoring the whole creation to find its one Head in Christ; yes, things in heaven and things on earth, to find their one Head in Him." ~R.F. Weymouth

"A few drops of blood renew the whole world, and become for all men that which rennet is for milk, uniting and drawing us into one. Christ is like leaven for the entire mass, and having made that which was damned one with himself, frees the whole from damnation." ~Gregory of Nazianzu
