Netflix seems to also struggle with recommendations for me. Like showing me kids shows and cartoons I have zero interest in. I was too old for Telletubies when it first came out. Do these lines of code think I've deaged since then and am young enough for a new Telletubies?
It's like Spotify suggesting Gospel music to or Amazon apparently thinking I somehow have the hair of a black woman. Netflix really needs to go back to recommending me "goofy comedies" like Passion of the Christ.

Ozymandias
BY PERCY BYSSHE SHELLEY
I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

Someone Asks “What Was The Worst ‘Adult Tantrum’ That You Guys Witnessed?” And 47 People Share Hilarious Stories

One example:

Had a woman park her car in the middle of the aisle, get out and scream at me because I didn’t move so she could have my parking spot. She started taking things out of her car and throwing them at me while cussing, screaming, and threatening to kill me. Several people called the cops and someone got Walmart security to come out and try and manage the situation until cops got there. When security came out she tried to have them arrest me and when they said they couldn’t do that she literally laid down on the ground and started kicking and screaming.

All this bc I didn’t move to a different spot before loading up my husband (disabled) and our groceries in the car. She ended up getting arrested and charged with assault and making terroristic threats.

Worst part was 1-she parked behind me so I couldn’t have moved even if I wanted to, 2-there was two parking spaces right by me that were empty and not handicap spaces, 3- I was in a handicap space and she didn’t even have a tag that would have allowed her to park there.

Dust of Snow
BY ROBERT FROST
The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

Terrorist threats? Is this real?

I have a copy of his complete poetry from the library right now.
I tried to find a collection with the Necessity of Atheism but the library system doesn't have it. And oddly the only copy of the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles this library system has is in a library about 40 minutes from here and it's not even available for check out.
It has no copies of Vampire$, the novel the John Carpenter flick Vampires is based on. The local library itself only has an much later entry of the Vampire Chronicles, but I was able to place a hold on Sagan's Contact from a different library in the system.
And though I say local library the exact spot of where I live makes the library here only three miles closer than the library in the next town over.

An Old Man's Winter Night
Robert Frost - 1874-1963

All out of doors looked darkly in at him
Through the thin frost, almost in separate stars,
That gathers on the pane in empty rooms.
What kept his eyes from giving back the gaze
Was the lamp tilted near them in his hand.
What kept him from remembering what it was
That brought him to that creaking room was age.
He stood with barrels round him—at a loss.
And having scared the cellar under him
In clomping there, he scared it once again
In clomping off;—and scared the outer night,
Which has its sounds, familiar, like the roar
Of trees and crack of branches, common things,
But nothing so like beating on a box.
A light he was to no one but himself
Where now he sat, concerned with he knew what,
A quiet light, and then not even that.
He consigned to the moon,—such as she was,
So late-arising,—to the broken moon
As better than the sun in any case
For such a charge, his snow upon the roof,
His icicles along the wall to keep;
And slept. The log that shifted with a jolt
Once in the stove, disturbed him and he shifted,
And eased his heavy breathing, but still slept.
One aged man—one man—can't fill a house,
A farm, a countryside, or if he can,
It's thus he does it of a winter night

Apparently I really don't know Adult Swim, especially newer stuff. On HBO Max, I looked over the Adult Swim stuff, and Venture Brothers is the only newest thing I know, with most of what I know being around time of Squidbillies, Boondocks, Metalocalypse, or Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and of course Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
But wow Adult Swim has made tons more than I realized.

Lessons in Tea Making

Kenny Knight

When I first learnt to
Pour tea in Honicknowle

In those dark old days
Before central heating

Closed down open fireplaces
And lights went out in coal mines

And chimpanzees hadn’t yet
Made their debuts on television

And two sugars
Was the national average

And the teapot was the centre
Of the known universe

And the solar system
Wasn’t much on anyone’s mind

And the sun was this yellow
Thing that just warmed the air

And anthropology’s study
Of domestic history hadn’t

Quite reached the evolutionary
Breakthrough of the tea-bag

And the kettle was on
In the kitchen of number

Thirty two Chatsworth Gardens
Where my father after slurping

Another saucer dry would ask
In a smoke-frog voice for

Another cup of microcosm
While outside the universe blazed

Like a hundred towns
On a sky of smooth black lino

And my father with tobacco
Stained fingers would dunk biscuits

And in the process spill tiny drops
Of Ceylon and India

I'm tired of being tired and sleeping so much, but when I'm under my blankets I don't want to leave my cave of plush, soft warmth.
