Which is why i said half decent
I've figured out where & how the indicator
mounts on my 1909 Mietz & Weiss engine.

The left indicator or the right indicator...?
It's a cylinder pressure vs piston stroke indicator.
It mounts on the air start port.
One lines up the piston just after TDC (top dead center).
Then one opens the valve until the engine nears BDC (bottom dead center).
And then what?
The engine starts running....ideally.
Of course, one must prime the fuel cup, & let
the torch heat up the combustion chamber first.
I see, i prefer the sort that recognises you and starts the engine.
Or even the old ones that you needed a key to start

I will find out Monday when it is happening and if it is a full, or a partial replacement
A friend had both replaced about 18 month's ago (3 month's apart) last i saw him he was jogging along a forest track.
