Sleepy and maybe a bit thoughts in the clouds I slip on my shoes this morning to walk outside to get the snail mail as usual.....with the coffee cup in my hand and eyes half closed I open the door and are welcomed by a freezing temperatures from HELL ( I don't like cold)
I try to walk down the two steps to the grounds but my feet slips and and I almost throw my coffee in the air  noooo not my morning coffee I thinking when my feet struggle to find solid ground o_O....finally my feet stop moving. My eyes goes to the coffee mug  only lost a little coffee.

Ok slowly I start to move toward the mail box.....what da heck my feet get wet and cold...looking down...flipping heck it has been snowing  crap I hate snow ( yay living in Norway is fun)
Well on my way again, turning around the corner of the house...and what da ya know....my feet run away from me and I clinging to my coffee cup..not a chance in hell I losing my morning coffee  then.....my feet starts to move in a million mph o_O I fling the coffee high in the air my body doing a half backflip in to the air o_O my thoughts go noooooooo not my coffee.....

A conscious though on the ground with a grim result of not drinking his coffee BEFOR going out to pick up the mail.....lesson learned addiction to coffee is dangerous :p

My mind cannot even imagine Norwegian cold.
The cold I have experienced in Slovenia was already unbearable.

    @Conscious thoughts

Talking of snails, I discovered a blue snail underneath a shed in the garden.

That's what you get for drinking coffee while getting the mail. Men aren't made to multitask.

Advice, always check the weather before venturing out. As i remember you don't like wearing shoes, not good in Norwegian winter weather. Maybe make a concession to yourself this time of year ;-)
Anyway, keep warm, and make another coffee.

It is true, I don't feel shoes as comfortable so whenever I can, I walk bare feet, but can't do that in winter. I did learn a lesson today, don't go outside before coffee has been consumed :p

I have a bad habit of not checking the weather when I am sleepy:oops:

    The real story....

Getting the mail with a caffeine fueled diet
Wearing only a robe, he failed to tie it
    His footing gave way
    Causing robe disarray
Exposing some parts that were formerly private.

Sounds like winter here... its gross, isn't it. I dislike the snow, too, but would agree to more, if the temperature would just stay above -6C...

I don't wear shoes, either. If my feet have to be on the ground for more than a minute in this cold, I'll cave, but if I'm just going to the car... forget it.
