I know many Christians who think the Catholic Church is the Religion of the antichrist. Many non Christians who think it to be Satanic as well.
Since Catholicism is a "Religion of Satan" isn't the catholic Church the most evil institution on the face of the earth? Doesn't God passionately hate the Catholic Church?
I would like to let you know a summary of what the "Wicked, Satanic, Religion of the Antichrist" teaches and what this "damnable" Religion asks it's followers to do and believe.
Here is how you can test the Spirits and discover the Catholic Church is NOT the Religion of the Antichrist.
It requires Baptism
Accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior.
A personal Relationship with the Father, son, and Holy Ghost.
Keep the commandments of God
Pray unceasingly and whatever you do, do it for the Lord.
Whatever suffering you encounter offer it up to the Lord. Deny yourself, Carry your Cross, and follow Christ. Have no attachements to anything that gets in the way of your relationship with God. Be willing to sacrifice all including your life for Christ.
Work on being humble, meek, poor in Spirit, and a peacemaker. Bless those who persecute you and love your enemies.
Fasting is encouraged along with chastity and purity of thought. Pornography, and homosexual acts are grave sins along with Pride, lust, anger, covetousness, envy, sloth, gluttony, and unforgiveness.
This "Whore of Babylon" teaches that we should ask the Holy Spirit into our Hearts, and only by the promptings and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and the grace of God, can we do anything to please Him.
Accept the gift that Christ is freely offering those who desire it along with the merits of his Redemptive Sacrifice to atone for your sins.
The precious blood of Christ shields us from the Wrath of God
God is love , trust in His unconditional love and Divine Mercy.
There is a common myth that Catholics are taught not to read Scripture. Not true:
Read Scripture daily for it is the Soul of Sacred Theology (a body without a soul is dead).
The Church teaches from the CCC
132:Therefore, the study of the sacred page (Scripture) should be the very soul of sacred theology.
133 The Church "forcefully and specifically exhorts all the Christian faithful. . . to learn the surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ, by frequent reading of the divine Scriptures. Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ. “
A sincere confession: "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
" Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." James 5:16
We are not saved by these works of mercy in themselves (contrary to popular myth) but we are encouraged to practice them because of what Christ said in Matthew 25 after seperating the sheep from the goats:
Seven corporal works of Mercy:
To feed the hungry;
To give drink to the thirsty;
To clothe the naked;
To harbour the harbourless;
To visit the sick;
To ransom the captive;
To bury the dead.
The spiritual works of mercy are:
To instruct the ignorant;
To counsel the doubtful;
To admonish sinners;
To bear wrongs patiently;
To forgive offences willingly;
To comfort the afflicted;
To pray for the living and the dead.
The Catholic Church requires it's members to beleive in one God, in Jesus Christ His only Son, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, was crucified, died, and was buried.
Jesus Christ rose from the Dead (If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9)...
...Believe that Christ ascended into Heaven in fulfillment of the Scriptures, is seated at the right hand of God, will come again to judge the living and the dead, his Kingdom will have no end, believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the Resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
Any Catholic who does not love Jesus is a non practicing Catholic...
Any Catholic who prefers an inferior good over God is failing to practice their Faith...
Any Catholic who loves anything less than God more than God, is not practicing their Catholic Faith
what the Catechism has to say about that:
The Church teaches that it is gravely sinful to practice Idolatry (from the CCC):
2113 Idolatry not only refers to false pagan worship. It remains a constant temptation to faith. Idolatry consists in divinizing what is not God. Man commits idolatry whenever he honors and reveres a creature in place of God, whether this be gods or demons (for example, satanism), power, pleasure, race, ancestors, the state, money, etc. Jesus says, "You cannot serve God and mammon." Many martyrs died for not adoring "the Beast" refusing even to simulate such worship. Idolatry rejects the unique Lordship of God; it is therefore incompatible with communion with God.
2114 Human life finds its unity in the adoration of the one God.
The commandment to worship the Lord alone integrates man and saves him from an endless disintegration. Idolatry is a perversion of man's innate religious sense. An idolater is someone who "transfers his indestructible notion of God to anything other than God."
The Catechism teaches:
358 man in turn was created to serve and love God
This is a summary of the primary teachings of the Catholic Church.
Beware!
