Again, true Christians would not do this. These are people using the name of "Christian" but not following the teachings of Christ.

Would you consider every line of scripture talking ABOUT Christ to be the teachings of Christ? For example:
If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved. For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Since you have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, live in union with him. Keep your roots deep in him, build your lives on him, and become stronger in your faith, as you were taught. And be filled with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:6-7)
Would you consider these three lines of scripture to be the teachings of Christ? Are these God's word or the words of men?
Where does God's word say that God would guide church leaders to give you the correct Canon of Scripture?....Church leaders and kings of Israel were anointed and yet made all kinds of mistakes.
How do you know the Council of Ephesus, which approved of Marian devotion, wasn't inspired by the Holy SpiritDaniel 12:4--truth would become abundant here in these last days.) It has-- The world hates it just like they hated it in Jesus day. The true living God= Father--requires one to know truth-- so there is no doubt--one religion is Gods.
It seems to be in line with what Jesus said.
Do you find a conflict?
The Catholic Church decided which books would be in your new testament Canon at the councils of Rome, Carthage, and hippo.... If the Catholic church is so evil, why do you trust that you have the correct Canon of scripture?
It was the only Church at the timeAs to how do you know for sure it was the Roman Catholic Church that decided which books should be added into the new testament?

If that is so bad, why is there nothing from Christ or the New Testament that says it's bad?Homes and churches filled with statues, icons and graven images prove their in darkness. They were never out of darkness.

I don't worship idols. The Catholic Church forbids it as wellRevelation 9:20-21New American Standard Bible (NASB)
20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; 21 and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.

God later commanded the Israelites to make graven images. Much of the Old Testament was for ancient Israel at that time, not for ChristiansMaybe you should reread the Commandment which the Catholic Church has left out of its own version.
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

The Catholic Church bans idols and giving adoration that belongs to God to anything less than God.... It's just, Christ redeemed The Souls of the Dead, and the souls in heaven started appearing to people and working miracles, and eventually the church decided it is okay to invoke them as the communion of saints, family in heaven, friends in high places.Revelation 9:18-20, was about "mankind", "a third of which was killed", and the referenence time is the judgment day of the LORD, and was written in the "Book of Revelation", a book some "Christians" take as a personal message to them. The Commandment concerning idols, given to Israel, just spells out what idolitry is. Now your Church, or it's instituter, Constantine, "can intend to make alterations in the times and the law" (Daniel 7:25), but it is a fleeting effort.
