That's the only comment you made in response to a substantial counterargument to your claims? You want to know who we who have access to the morbidity and mortality data that confirm that the vaccines are safer than the virus are? If this is how you treat the subject of vaccine safety and efficacy, of course you're going to harbor false ideas that cannot be corrected.
You'd need to seriously consider such counterarguments, and if you think you see an error, point it out and explain why you think it's wrong (your own counterargument, rebuttal, or attempt at falsification). It is only through this method that differences in opinion about facts can be resolved, but it takes two (or more) competent critical thinkers acting cooperatively and in good faith. Now look at your reply again.
Incidentally, we is you, me, and everybody else with access to the Internet. That's different from the we who have looked at and understood that data.

I trust pharmaceutical companies as much as I trust politicians, but the reality you keep avoiding is that vaccines, including the covid ones, actually do work, albeit imperfectly.

Let us take a look at basic COVID virus science, instead of the politics and censorship by politicians.
The first thing that I noticed, in the above picture, and nearly all other depictions of the COVID virus, is the water is not shown, even though water is essential to the life and activity of a virus. Without water the virus is useless, even to itself. Dehydrated virus are inert, until you add water. This common organic centric picture, above, is science misinformation. Try the virus with water and with no water in the lab and prove it to yourself.
If we place the above virus, in any other solvent, besides water, it would be toast. We know it hates alcohol; hand sanitizer. However, we cannot flood the blood supply with harsh solvents, like alcohol, since all the cells of life are also dependent on water, and all these other solvents, in too high a concentration, will also mess up the healthy cells. Still this picture above, creates a misinformed picture of the reality of water 's key influence in terms of the shapes, surface activity and targeting of host cells. Without water logic, all you have is slot machine science; house can still win if state gaming commission sets the odds and people pull the slop machine handles enough times.
Let me show some basic water logic for conceptually dealing with all pesky virus. If we place oil in water, and agitate we can form an emulsion. The energy added will shear the two liquids, to form millions of tiny bubbles. If we allow this to settle, the surface tension; due to the increase surface area, will spontaneously lower and make larger and larger bubbles. The tiny microscopic bubbles will merge and then these larger bubble will combine, etc.,etc., until we have just two phase layers of water and oil. Virus is like the oil, with its three layers shown above. The layered shape is based on minimizing the surface tension in water. Like folding and packing a protein, the finished virus minimizes the surface tension in water. This water driven sweet spot is how they become so uniform.
The story does not stop there. The virus is not the perfect happy ending into the two layers of the water and oil example. They are like the tiny intermediate bubbles, as the water and oil start to separate and like bubbles, coalesce with like. These bigger bubbles still need to combine. But in the case of the virus, these tiny virus bubbles do not combine very well with each other beyond they own layering. The finished virus stay apart, leaving behind some residual surface tension. Where they can better combine to lower the surface tension, residual, is with a host cell, to make the host cell and themselves, and an even bigger bubble; on way to the final two layers of water and oil.
This specificity of virus to its host, is analogous to the packing of the DNA with packing protein. The final condensed chromosomes have minimal surface area in contact with the cellular water. The gene bubbles are all packed together in the condensed chromosomes. The packing protein also minimize their surface area, in contact with water, by being buried inside the condensed DNA. This burying has a dual value, in that it also helps to hold the packed DNA, all together. When the mother cells makes lots of packing protein, the optimized place for these protein to fold and then go, to lower their surface tension in water, is onto the DNA; this is the sure thing for lowest surface tension. The sure thing path is why this is so repeatable.
Virus has specialty surface protein; mushrooms shapes above, that still have residual surface tension, after the layers pack, like the packing protein. They need very specific host cells, like the packing protein needs the DNA. This is the perfect place to lower the overall water potential and the surface tension. This is the nature of targeting; lowest surface tension solutions.
We could either lower the surface tension of the virus, or the surface tension of the host cell, so the virus will go somewhere else, being pushed by the water to plan B or C. We sort of do this now; tweak the surface proteins of cell or virus, but under an assumption that does include the water. This method is more connected to the organic lock and key entry of the virus into the host cell, via modified surface protein.

One possible flaw in this logic is; Say the COVID virus was already active and the virus had already picked all the locks and are reproducing itself. The doors are already open. If the vaccine was administered, in this open door time slot, although the vaccine does successfully attach to the virus hoards, and creates an inhibition that locks the doors, it is possible some transitional foreign matter can enter in the transition open-close door shuffle. It may not have be optimized to give the vaccine to a person, who would otherwise have a strong natural immune response, at the wrong time slot, just before their body starts to naturally close the locks. Over use to the very healthy, may have caused some side effects that may not have appeared, if they were allowed to self heal. The misinformation forced bullying to get the vaccine may have some side effects.
That was a major change in classic protocol; give vaccine to everyone including the healthy, based on the misinformation by the swamp. This had never been the approach before. For example, children were known not to be very vulnerable, in a terminal infection sense. Yet this was lied about, with a fake news propaganda bogeyman scare, as a pretense to shut down Democrat run schools. This gave the vaccine to those who would have been last triage; the lowest risk and highest natural recovery. Children may have been part of that group with open doors, that would have self sealed, but ended up the victims of this overly manipulated friendly fire. They got better, but some may have lingering secondary water equilibrium effects that may include learning disorders.
Why didn't the doctors and scientists stand up to the shady politicians and lawyers when they forced you to break from classic protocol? The science already said the children had the least risk, before the politicians decided to take over? We all know that answer, based on the censorship and intimidation to the scientists and businesses who spoke out. They use black balling and even direct attacks on family and careers.
We may need to allow scientists, businesses, long COVID victims and families of children harmed by the malicious friendly fire, to be sue in civil courts. This should include all the elected officials who lied about the children's science or intimated scientists and businesses This is not criminal court, but civil court with juries of our peers, instead of the deep state injustice system.

What you either ignore or have forgotten is that the covid variant that was spreading rapidly around the world as a deadly force was not well understood. Previous covid forms spread mainly by contact, not airborne. Even the CDC and NIH were caught off guard.
Secondly, as far as schools are concerned, there are more than just students in a school, so by your scenario, teachers and other school staff simply don't matter.
Thirdly, it seems to me that your politics is more important to you than even human life itself.

You can't have a strong 'natural immune response" to something your body has never encountered before.

The schools were closed because such places are known to be vectors for disease. Anyone who has a kid starting school up every September knows they're bringing some illness home within the first few weeks of starting school. This isn't a new thing.
I live in Canada where we don't have "Democrat run schools" and yet we closed our schools anyway, out of caution. I always find it funny when people try to make pandemics political in this way.

Some RNA based virus can insert DNA via reverse transcription. This is where they use their own RNA, to reverse engineer DNA, that then makes more of their own RNA. I am not an expert in organic centric virology; I like the water equilibrium angle. But I assume reverse transcription needs help by the integrase enzyme to add the reverse engineered DNA. This is where the equilibrium door opens.
The natural immune response to COVID, was due to this being COVID-19, and an advance version of a base virus. Some people had a foundation to approach this latest version. COVID-19 came from SARS-1 virus that killed about 900 people ,world wide in 2002. This version was more like a common cold, that many people may have had and easily recovered from; Platform was established.
Although, this latest version was manufactured in China, in a cooperative effort with other countries. What they added was not natural or part of a natural progression. Coincidence or not, this manufactured virus did help the swamp win the election. That last fact; manufactured and not natural, was covered up by the swamp. Why?
Recently; past week, it was discovered that 15 US government Agencies were aware of the COVID gain of function research, but all covered it up during the COVID misinformation cycle and stated it to be all natural. I suppose the coverup could be self preservation, like pulling a fire alarm and people getting hurt. It may have been the desire to stay low and hopefully get through it, unscathed. But still, had unnatural been known in advance, the military would have made provisions for an anecdote. Maybe this is how it was developed so fast.
The change in protocol was connected to the speed at which President Trump and the USA were able to develop the first vaccines. Normally this is very slow boat process due to the Government bureaucracy not wishing to adversely impact their careers by being accountable to scary unknowns. Typically, the development is slower and manufacturing starts on a smaller scale. What does come out, is reserved for the VIPs and very sick lab rat patients, for more tests before the VIP's get it.
This vaccines is so common so fast, we now give it to children way beyond the R&D and the normal pilot stage pace of parallel drugs. With the speed of development and scale up, there was a unique rush to full scale opening night, and the NAZI push to give everyone the vaccine, even if they resisted. This when Biden and DNC came in. If you did not comply you were evil and would be black balled, even lose jobs; Fascism.
This was way beyond anything that ever happened, all based on misinformation about its unnatural origins, natural herd immunity and alternative drugs that had a long history of safe use for other things; Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). The latter may not have been as effective, but it was test proven to be safe, with few long term side effects since 1950's. This would have been approach slower. However, it was made a bogeyman by misinformation to speed up the food pellet line; transfer of taxpayer debt, to medical business $$$$$ and kickbacks.
At the very beginning, they knew children had the least risk. It made no sense not to allow the children to interact and develop herd immunity since they could catch it, pass it and most easily overcome it. There was no need for any vaccine, nor school closing if the concern was the children, as the con artists claimed. It was never about the children, but really hidden shady motives. Anything censored to make the party line, the only show in town, should be taken with a grain of salt.
The closing of schools was really to appease the teachers, who had been made paranoid. It was part of the economy shut down; parents had to leave work to baby sit. This could harm the rebounding Trump economy, before the 2020 election. All the DNC states did the same thing; marching orders and walking on lock step. Actions speak louder than words, with the push to vaccinate children not due to following the science and the data. The swamp lies. The Inflation Reduction Act caused worse inflation. But if you look at actions; close down and harm the economy, all before Nov 2020, the words were the lie.
I worked through the entire COVID cycle, as part of what was considered essential workers, more or less at the bottom level of "essential". I was connected to maintaining the day to day logistics of living, while most stayed home in my Democrat run state. The early data was showing that the elderly, with pre-existing medical problems; heart, lungs, compromised immunity, over weight, etc, were the most at risk. These should have needed quarantine. The Governor of NY screwed that up, killing many elderly in nursing homes by adding sick younger people. The youth, typically have none of these medical problems and should be able to maintain normal life. This was the case.
The older people like myself, older but not yet retired, who is basically healthy, on no medications, who stay fit, should be fine. I was right. This is not rocket science. It took 1.5 years of exposure before I got COVID. My immune system did fine. I got it because of being run down, allergy season, and had a minor operation that I was recovering from, all in the same week I was exposed. The COVID was an overload. I got the vaccine after I recovered, not to appease my fear, but so as to not be labeled a leper, due to the frenzy caused by fake news propaganda and my having been sick by COVID. I would have preferred let my immune system speak for itself, but appeasing the irrational mob seems part of my duty as an essential worker. That made them feel better, so it was OK.
That common sense thinking, all the way through, made me a target even though it would prove to be the correct logic. The abuse that was metered out needs to be balanced off, if justice is more important than the needs of fascism. This is I am venting.
My early theory about COVID, based on the observations that the sick elderly were the main virus target, and the youth was safe, made me think of one of the Liberal wing paranoia that was big in the 1970's; world over population. These targets seemed to be the answer, with the bonus of lowering high health care costs. The COVID virus targeted the most expensive people to maintain in terms of medical costs; pre-Covid, while sparing the children and the healthy.
China also had the population paranoia bug, in the same era, and even created a one child policy for couples. While Democrats still push birth control and abortion all of which lower population growth; tens of millions less people. Now, due to the aging baby boomers in both countries, there are a lot of elderly, many very sick, from burning the candle at both ends, with not enough young people, to pay the tab for their care as medical costs continue to rise. A good fake/natural virus; wink wink, that could wipe out the most expensive patients, would help both philosophies. The SAR-1 would have been a good way to prime the youth and healthy before opening right. It is possible stop Trump, caused the opening night to be move ahead of schedule. There were many bugs that had yet to be worked out.
One last thought is NPR or National Public Radio. This is US tax funded non-profit multimedia company, that is supposed to be impartial, and represent all the tax payers and both parties since they all pay of it. But during COVID, NPR carried the water for the swamp and DNC, showing no journalistic curiosity, beyond reciting swamp propaganda. We need to fire the people at the top, have the Republicans install their version of DEI operatives to balance off the bias, and/or defund all tax payer money and let the DNC pay for its own propaganda. I would also want a rebate of all the tax payer money, that was not represented, during their propaganda role.; Fascism has a cost.

Big Pharma searching for the genetic Holy Grail .. along with Science itself. this is crazy research .. creating new forms of life .. new viruses .. by alterations to the DNA - genetic structure .. or utilization of the DNA as is done in the vax. And there is only 2 labs in the world you can do this kind of work .. and thus there are a whole bunch of these National interests doing this kind of work at Wuhan .. US included ..

This article explains the drift if one uses the absolute numbers rather than relative rates per cohort. It's analogous to the idea that most people who get polio now are vaccinated, because that's most people. Even if all unvaccinated people got polio and only 1% of the vaccinated get it, if the population is 99.9% vaccinated, the second group will outnumber the first if absolute numbers of deaths are used rather that death rate by category. If 1998 of 2000 people (99%) have the vaccine and 1% get polio, that's 20 people. If both of the unvaccinated get it (100%), that's only 2 cases compared to the 20 among the vaccinated.
In the final analysis, it isn't important to others that the unvaccinated understand or agree with that data or arguments like the ones I've made because it's no longer important to others whether they vaccinate or not. One's chance to be community minded and contribute to herd immunity voluntarily has passed. Many if not most of the unvaccinated likely have acquired the infection unvaccinated and acquired some future immunity because of it, and in so doing, has unwitting and involuntary contribution to herd immunity, which is why we no longer need them to get vaccinated.

Jeff also puts the origin at the original SAR's .. cites the gain of function work done on that virus round 2004 .. work to make the virus far more transmissible in humans with the insertion of the now famous "Furan Cleavage Site" - a feature that happens to be present in the Modern strain ... this being just one of the pieces of evidence .. with the main being Occam's razor .. as a natural jump has been pretty much ruled out on the basis of a number of factors .. didn't come from a bat cave somewhere .. and at the end of the day it doesn't matter.
In relation to what you have stated .. there were 20 nations doing this gain of function research .. Big Pharma searching for the genetic Holy Grail .. along with Science itself. this is crazy research .. creating new forms of life .. new viruses .. by alterations to the DNA - genetic structure .. or utilization of the DNA as is done in the vax. And there is only 2 labs in the world you can do this kind of work .. and thus there are a whole bunch of these National interests doing this kind of work at Wuhan .. US included ..
