Songs From Your Childhood

I recall one of my early childhood memories, I was about 4 or 5 (my older brother would have been about 7 or 8), and there were a couple of other kids over. We had a babysitter, and I just remember running around through different rooms of the house over this kind of silly obstacle course which we set up. This was the album playing on the stereo.


The opening part of "Taxman" ("One, two, three, four") sticks in my head, as that was our cue to start running like crazy around the house.

I also remember taking a liking to my mom's Chubby Checker records. I learned to do The Twist.


Unfortunately, a lot of those records got scratched - or they ended up with unexplained cracks or other damage.

I also remember this one from when I was very young:


It was my brother's record, and I played it once without his permission. He was quite angry with me.
