You are right Riverwolf. Jesus was an incarnation of God or as you and I put it an Avatar. These souls have fully immersed their ego with God consciousness, and when they are born on earth again they only come to guide humanity back with him in God. Since he has become one with the infinite spirit he was able to do anything that God could and was allowed by him on this material plane. It was why he was said to have performed many miracles like walk on water, healings, and reviving himself after death on the cross. It's also why he could so confidently speak of God and his laws in the universe.
