In any case, from what I can gather, it's mostly a strawman argument. For example, I don't think that we can solve all of our problems using renewables. But what we should do TODAY is pour massive amounts of R&D dollars into fusion.

We have seen this for quite some time, this time it seems to have sunk to a new low and that is using children against "do-nothing adults" on climate change. Who are the one's telling children they have no hope or future because they are all going to die soon due to climate change? Who are the ones organizing these events? If these children actually believe the scripts some of them seem to be reading, what effects do you think it will have on them long term?

I used to debate against this about ten years ago. But I was an exceptionally rare bird. I was a true skeptic. I read the posts from the other side and dang it, they had the better arguments. It was finally Lord Monckton that convinced me that I was wrong. Yes, Lord Monckton that argues against climate change convinced me of it. I noticed that his debating tactics were almost identical to that of creationists. I reasoned if climate change is fake why the need for such dishonest tactics?

I've met a few of them in the past, and they can appear very awkward and quite forward, no filters, but can also be quite intelligent and knowledgeable about whatever topic they have their teeth in. Just wanted to point that out, her condition can affect how she comes off around people, but it doesn't have the slightest affect on her mental capacity.

Similar has been said before and while I am sure that there are some intelligent people that have mental illnesses we also have to admit that reasonably that does not mean that every person that has a mental illness is intelligent or well informed, there are probably a lot of less intelligent ones in there too. The problem with someone with aspergers seems to be the way they process the information.
