Sex Work Is Legitimate, But Needs Regulation

This topic has become a minefield.
Oh, well...at least I'm not offended.
And if I've offended anyone else....expect it again.

As far as I've seen, counter-arguments seem to amount to "but sex work is gross to me personally, therefore people that do it don't deserve to be safe."

Oh my, did I say that!

Well to make my views clear. I'm not an advocate for prostitution, do see that it harms so many, but ultimately it is the right of anyone who chooses such to do so - if such is their wish and not coming from coercion. And being so, there should be controls such that what they do is made safe for them. Along with this, every effort should be made to persuade the more vulnerable not to engage in this area, with special regard as to the young not becoming involved.
