The word resurrection comes from the word resurge; which implies to rise again, or swell up again.
does this imply that the mind, the spirit, is in a latent state and can be materialized, realized?
jesus said the kingdom of god comes within you. obviously that can happen on earth as revelation 21 and 22 explain. If one considers a 'latent state' to be in a 'sleep-like state' then yes resurge, rising up again can be realized.
Realized in not only mind and spirit but also in body.
I find in Scripture those resurrected to heaven (as Jesus was) will have a 'spirit body' as Jesus has.
Most people resurrected will be resurrected back to live life again on Earth in a 'physical body'.
That is what Daniel looked forward to ' rising up ' or ' standing up ' again as per Daniel 12:13.
So, Daniel (and those who died before Jesus died - John 3:13) can have a materialized, realized physical body.
A healthy physical body as described in Isaiah 35th chapter when the blind see, deaf hear, and lame leap.

god doesn't go anywhere if god is everywhere. now the person can ignore that god is present, or heaven is at hand.
because people can repent and return to God, recognize that God is ever present. again, it's a state of mind.I do wonder why you would think the kingdom of God was within those hate-filled Pharisees_______
I say that because at Luke 17:20-21 those enemies of Jesus are the ones Jesus is talking to in vss 20-21.
I find it is Not until the next verse at Luke 17:22 that Jesus then addresses his disciples.
Plus, continuing to read at Luke 19:11-15 Jesus makes it clear to his followers that God's Kingdom (Daniel 2:44) would Not immediately appear at that time frame.
Any comments about what Jesus said is ' within ' a person at Mark 7:20-23_______

Matthew 3:2
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Just because they choose darkness over light, does not mean the potential is not there.

I am wondering what potential do you find about those hate-filled Pharisees in Matthew 23rd chapter.
Sure the potential is there, but in the light of Scripture they did Not repent - Matthew 15:9.
They were part of the 'MANY' who chose the wide road of Matthew 7th chapter.
It is hard to walk the long narrow road.
It is up to us to see the good in all people up until our last breath, when we face our judgement. We are not the judge of any soul, we are given the right to judge the action in this world using justice.
Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

I wonder what Scripture says God is everywhere _________
I find at 1 Kings 8:39,49 that God has a specific 'heavenly home location', however His ZIP code is Not mentioned.
The "resurrection" concept is just another of mankind's myths that was invented to con people into joining some of the earlier religions. So there's no need to act like it could really happen.
Try the Good News Bible, Catholic Study Edition Jeremiah 23: 23-24; "I am a God who is everywhere and not in one place only. No one can hide where I cannot see them. Do you not know that I am everywhere in heaven and earth?"
ever heard of psychology? psychologically immature? or respecting elders who have more experience.
or simply lifting the spirit?
I find Jeremiah was originally written in Hebrew at Jeremiah 23:23-24.
The Hebrew says: Am I a God (only) from nearby..... and not a God from afar ?
Can a man hide in concealments and that I not see him?
Do I not fill the heaven and the earth ?
So, to me the Hebrew is saying: No one can hide from God. - Psalms 139:7-11
That does Not have to mean God is actually present, but that nothing is hidden from Him.
The Hebrew has at 1 Kings 8:39 may You hear from Heaven, the foundation of Your abode....
At 1 Kings 8:43 says may You hear from Heaven the foundation of Your abode...
At 1 Kings 8:45 says from Heaven may You hear their prayer......
At 1 Kings 8:49 says may You hear their prayer and supplication from Heaven the foundation of Your abode....
Please notice where God looks down from according to Deuteronomy 26:15 ____________
resurrection is the idea of elevating the consciousness to a higher state of mind and empowerment. And that has WHAT to do with my statement of:
"The "resurrection" concept is just another of mankind's myths that was invented to con people into joining some of the earlier religions. So there's no need to act like it could really happen."
