The word resurrection comes from the word resurge; which implies to rise again, or swell up again.

does this imply that the mind, the spirit, is in a latent state and can be materialized, realized?

If one considers a 'latent state' to be in a 'sleep-like state' then yes resurge, rising up again can be realized.
Realized in not only mind and spirit but also in body.
I find in Scripture those resurrected to heaven (as Jesus was) will have a 'spirit body' as Jesus has.
Most people resurrected will be resurrected back to live life again on Earth in a 'physical body'.
That is what Daniel looked forward to ' rising up ' or ' standing up ' again as per Daniel 12:13.
So, Daniel (and those who died before Jesus died - John 3:13) can have a materialized, realized physical body.
A healthy physical body as described in Isaiah 35th chapter when the blind see, deaf hear, and lame leap.

jesus said the kingdom of god comes within you. obviously that can happen on earth as revelation 21 and 22 explain.

god doesn't go anywhere if god is everywhere. now the person can ignore that god is present, or heaven is at hand.

I do wonder why you would think the kingdom of God was within those hate-filled Pharisees_______
I say that because at Luke 17:20-21 those enemies of Jesus are the ones Jesus is talking to in vss 20-21.
I find it is Not until the next verse at Luke 17:22 that Jesus then addresses his disciples.
Plus, continuing to read at Luke 19:11-15 Jesus makes it clear to his followers that God's Kingdom (Daniel 2:44) would Not immediately appear at that time frame.
Any comments about what Jesus said is ' within ' a person at Mark 7:20-23_______

I wonder what Scripture says God is everywhere _________
I find at 1 Kings 8:39,49 that God has a specific 'heavenly home location', however His ZIP code is Not mentioned.

because people can repent and return to God, recognize that God is ever present. again, it's a state of mind.

    Matthew 3:2
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

    Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Just because they choose darkness over light, does not mean the potential is not there.

I am wondering which verse you have in mind that the hate-filled Pharisees repented ____________
I find Jesus pronounced many ' woes ' on those Pharisees and his reasons why in Matthew 23rd chapter.

God's kingdom was at hand because Jesus, as designated King of God's Kingdom, was present at that time.
At hand and 'coming' (thy kingdom come....) are two (2) different things.
Jesus was at hand in the first century.
Revelation ends with the invitation for us to pray for Jesus to come !
Come and bring God's kingdom (Daniel 2:44) to govern over Earth for a thousand years.
Since Daniel 2:44 did Not happen in the first century is why Jesus said at Luke 19:11-15 that the kingdom would Not be immediate. To me Not immediately means Not at that first century time frame, but at Revelation's time, our time.

I am wondering what potential do you find about those hate-filled Pharisees in Matthew 23rd chapter.
Sure the potential is there, but in the light of Scripture they did Not repent - Matthew 15:9.
They were part of the 'MANY' who chose the wide road of Matthew 7th chapter.

It is hard to walk the long narrow road.

It is up to us to see the good in all people up until our last breath, when we face our judgement. We are not the judge of any soul, we are given the right to judge the action in this world using justice.

Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

In Scripture, the ' evil ' mentioned at Isaiah 45:7 is Not necessarily synonymous with wrongdoing.
The Flood and Sodom and Gomorrah was an ' evil ' in the sense of a 'calamity 'against the wicked - Isaiah 26:10
There will also be a calamity against the wicked as described at Jeremiah 25:31-33.
We do Not do the judging but God does.
Even the human judges were to use God's judgement as to what was right and wrong in God's eyes as found in Psalms 82.

Also, please notice the people on Earth at the coming time of Matthew 25:31-33 are living people that are judged.
Judged by Jesus at this soon coming ' time of separating ' to take place on Earth.
Taking place before Jesus, as Prince of Peace, ushers in global Peace on Earth among persons of goodwill.

The "resurrection" concept is just another of mankind's myths that was invented to con people into joining some of the earlier religions. So there's no need to act like it could really happen.

I find Jeremiah was originally written in Hebrew at Jeremiah 23:23-24.
The Hebrew says: Am I a God (only) from nearby..... and not a God from afar ?
Can a man hide in concealments and that I not see him?
Do I not fill the heaven and the earth ?
So, to me the Hebrew is saying: No one can hide from God. - Psalms 139:7-11
That does Not have to mean God is actually present, but that nothing is hidden from Him.

The Hebrew has at 1 Kings 8:39 may You hear from Heaven, the foundation of Your abode....
At 1 Kings 8:43 says may You hear from Heaven the foundation of Your abode...
At 1 Kings 8:45 says from Heaven may You hear their prayer......
At 1 Kings 8:49 says may You hear their prayer and supplication from Heaven the foundation of Your abode....
Please notice where God looks down from according to Deuteronomy 26:15 ____________

And that has WHAT to do with my statement of:

"The "resurrection" concept is just another of mankind's myths that was invented to con people into joining some of the earlier religions. So there's no need to act like it could really happen."

Is heaven not the entire cosmos and is earth not in heaven with all other heavenly bodies that God, who is all that exists, has become?

resurrection is the idea of elevating the consciousness to a higher state of mind and empowerment.

maslow's heirarchy of needs is the movement of consciousness from a lower state to a higher; which is self-realization

And God said to Adam; "Dust thou art and to dust you must return, but I promise you that when the resurrection comes around again, I will raise you and all your seed."

Resurrection, the next period of universal activity, after this universe has burned and the elements rolled up as a scroll as they spiral into the Great Abyss/Black Hole, and God then creates for us a new heavens and a new earth.

According to the ancient cultures, we live in an eternal oscillating universe that expands outward and contracts back to its beginning in space time, a living universal being who is all that exists, and in who, all that is, exists. A universe that exists in the two states of seemingly visible matter and invisible energy=anti-matter.

“Universe after universe is like an interminable succession of wheels forever coming into view, forever rolling onwards, disappearing and reappearing; forever passing from being to non-being, and again from non-being to being. In short, the constant revolving of the wheel of life in one eternal cycle, according to fixed and immutable laws, is perhaps after all, the sum and substance of the philosophy of Buddhism. And this eternal wheel has so to speak, six spokes representing six forms of existence.” ---- Mon. Williams, Buddhism, pp. 229, 122.

The days and nights of Brahma are called Manvantara, or the cycle of manifestation, ‘The Great Day,’ which is a period of universal activity, that is preceded, and also followed by ‘Pralaya,’ a dark period, which to our finite minds would seem as an eternity, or but a moment in time.

‘Manvantara,’ is a creative day as seen in the six days of creation in Genesis, ‘Pralaya,’ is the evening that proceeds the next creative day. The six periods of Creation and the seventh day of rest in which we now exist are referred to in the book of Genesis as the “GENERATIONS OF THE UNIVERSE.”

The English word “Generation,” is translated from the Hebrew “toledoth” which is used in the Old Testament in every instance as ‘births,’ or ‘descendants,’ such as “These are the generations of Adam,” or “these are the generations of Abraham, and Genesis 2: 4; These are the generations of the Universe or the heavens and earth, etc. And the ‘Great Day’ in which the seven generations of the universe are eternally repeated, is the eternal cosmic period, or the eighth eternal day in which those who attain to perfection are allowed to enter, where they shall be surrounded by great light and they shall experience eternal peace, while those who do not attain to perfection are cast back into the refining fires of the seven physical cycles of endless rebirths that perpetually revolve within the eighth eternal cosmic cycle.

Enoch the righteous, wrote that God created an eighth day also, so that it should be the first after his works, and it is a day eternal with neither hours, days, weeks, months or years, for all time is stuck together in one eon, etc, etc, and all who enter into the generation of the Light beings, are able to visit all those worlds that still exist in Space-Time, but not in our time.

A series of worlds following one upon the other-- each world rising a step higher than the previous world, so that every later world brings to ripeness the seeds that were imbedded in the former, and itself then prepares the seed for the universe that will follow it. This is the true resurrection in which all from the previous cycle of universal activity, who still have the judgmental war raging within them, are born again into the endless cycles of physical manifestation, or rebirths.
