Questions for Jews

Is Judaism a religion for all the world or only for the Jews? If for all the world and every body need to embrace it to be saved why the jews are not keen to spread it all over the nations? if it is only meant to be for what is presumed to be the selected nation? what about the rest of mankind and Jinns/ Why God is not bothered by them?

Exalted my Lord, What a sinful word and slander they say
Judaism is the religion for Jews. There is a set of laws for the whole of the world and if non-Jews follow those universal laws then they are fulfilling the expectation that God has for them. The Jews have been selected for other laws and responsibilities so we have to comply with a larger group of laws.

Excellent post! True, the Mosaic law was for the Jews not gentiles.

Fatalist. Christian. Pacifist.
But God screwing a woman to create himself as a human to kill himself and then fulfil all the prophecies later is perfectly realistic.

#justchristianthings

1) I don't think spirits can screw anything.
2) Jesus was not God.
3) Let's not get into irony. Your house is glass.

Throughout the bible, multiple passages.

  • I s aiah 2, 11, 42; 59:20
  • J e remiah 23, 30, 33; 48:47; 49:39
  • E z ekiel 38:16
  • H o sea 3:4-3:5
  • Mi c ah 4
  • Z e phaniah 3:9
  • Z e chariah 14:9
  • D a niel 10:14

Just quote one.

None of them specifically say that one person alone will do all these things.

Most of Christianity kinda does.

*shuckles*

Why can't Christians read? They always have this huge urge to go into Threads that are made so that Jews can give their opinion.

Does it really bother you so much that we didn't join your cute cult?

1) Actually, most Christians don't believe there was any intercourse involved, whatsoever. But..

2) Is this thread in the wrong place? Is there some other place it could go?

There is much documents that claim Jesus worked miracles, cast out demons, cleansed lepers, gave sight to the blind, multiplied loaves and fishes etc.

What do you Jews think about that? Was he a magician using sorcery and occult powers from Demons, if he did indeed work those miracles?

I'm not suggesting he was the Messiah , but do believe he worked miracles to have such a large following

Nothing at all.

Just like we don't tend to think about Buddha, Mohammed or any other religious character from a different religion.

Christians and Muslims really need to get it into their head that we never think about their main two whatevers unless its brought up by them.

At the moment many Jews think about upcoming Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Shortly afterwards Sukkot and Simchat Torah.

That's what we think about.

There are 2 very different approaches to this:
1. Those documents have an agenda -- they require one believes in them before one can believe what they say. As there is no external corroboration that those miracles occurred, if one sees the body of work making the claims as fiction, then the claims, themselves, disappear. The oft repeated argument is "there is much documentation (7 books!) that claim Harry Potter worked miracles etc."

2. There is an esoteric theory that Jesus might have been one who manipulated a type of "miracle making" that other rabbis are recorded as having used in the talmud. So if the claims are true, then the behavior is still nothing to write home about.

Since God wanted the Bible to be written by Jews and gave his word, law, and precepts to Jews rather than gentiles, kept Jews separate, and gave them massive victories over gentiles, would you say Jews are in general Superior in God's eyes to gentiles? Be honest now!

It just seems God favors the Jews over all people. Even Jesus said, "salvation is from the Jews."

Every blessing and Divine revelation God gives to the world is through the Jews.

"Bless Israel and you shall be blessed, curse Israel and you shall be cursed."

God is a Zionist! How is it not obvious? :D

Just look at how few Jews there are in the world (what percent of the world is Jewish), and yet they win such a percentage of Noble prizes "At least 197 Jews and people of half- or three-quarters-Jewish ancestry have been awarded the Nobel Prize, accounting for 22% of all individual recipients worldwide between 1901 and 2016, and constituting 36% of all US recipients"
Jewish Nobel Prize Winners

They are anointed. Just finding Hebrew history fascinating! Pardon my flattery! :p
