Personally I don't have an extreme reaction to most any sounds (probably did earlier in my life) - the usual for many: nails down blackboards, Psycho moments, people sniffing, babies crying, people shouting when using mobiles, noise from neighbours, etc. - but now I am most likely to turn off music that just doesn't appeal or I find too dull (much of modern music unfortunately), those who seem to insist on shouting at us (various media personalities, and many of whom might be slightly deaf, so perhaps forgiven - but still silenced/muted), certain accents or mannerisms, and many who just seem too aggressive. And perhaps I do prefer silence, or the sounds of nature, or the music I love over much else.
