I get the same way....when I'm feeling "blah" I tend to just disappear off the face of the planet for a while.... It's something I've been working on a lot, too. I end up just having to force myself to pick up the phone when someone calls, make myself accept an invitation, etc etc....It gets easier after a bit.
Any news on the bills and money and stuff from the hospital?
Things to look forward to? That can be anything, IMO....sometimes I just look forward to being able to go home and cuddle with the cat...or take a candle-lit bath or something. Job promotions, vacations, seeing friends, or just seeing what life has in store. You know? I'm always curious about how things are going to turn out, in any case. :)

I'm going out this weekend with my friend. She is taking me to the roller derby, that should be interesting as I've never been to one.

Bills keep coming in and no word from the hospital yet. I guess I'll get my yearly deductible met soon...

I don't know what to look forward to. She is asking me where I want to be in 5 years... I had no answer. I just really don't know right now. I guess time will tell and more therapy for the near future. BLAH! :)

You know, you should probably say that you live for the moment, cos that's all we got. ;) That doesn't mean start drug dealing just cos you can't think of anything better or more adventurous to do...

One of the most amazing sayings I've ever heard, that I've been trying to apply to my life, is, "Wait and see." It is a reminder to calm the mind, pay attention to the world around you, so that you hardly vary from what is, and the beauty of it. :)

I hope this helps. *hugs* It's so good to see you again!!!!!!

I was told to take it day by day, which I have been doing. Now she is telling me to have goals for down the road and asking me where I want to be in 5 years. I had no answer because I've been living day to day... I don't get it, oh well. I guess I'm still just going.

Good to see you too :)

People like her are not like everyone else. Not everyone needs to know what they want five years down the road. In fact, most people who have a plan like that don't follow the plan anyway, so why bother making one?

Hon, you just keep being your wonderful self, and don't dwell on someone elses' opinions. You're doing just fine :)

I'm sticking with the day to day thing for now. Plus, I don't have therapy next week so I get a little break! :)

    HOLY [email protected]*#!!!!

I had a really good week this past week. Everybody at work even said I seemed more like myself. I guess a break from the therapy was good for me! So today I go to the post office and there is an envelope from my insurance company. It was the final charges from the hospital.

Needless to say, HOLY [email protected]*#!!!!!!!!!!! The bill for the hospital was over $31,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank god I have insurance, but still! I've already paid over $500 and have bills for over $300 more. Now I owe the hospital over $4,000! I don't know what I'm going to do... Makes me wish the cops never showed up!

I guess it is Top Ramen and water for me for a year or so! $31,000+!!!!!!! I can't believe it!

Glad to see your in a good spirit.
$31,000 now that is a good chunk of change, hope it all works well for you.
Dude Ramen and mixed veggies are to die for.
I eat that just to remember the good old days.

I for one am glad the cops did come, I hate to think you might have lost out on all the good times to come.
Life can't always be easy, but the good times always make up for the bad.
You keep hangin in there, and remember, if you're down you have friends and people here that will talk with you.
Some days that is all we need to take a look around and find something good to reach for.
Like it or not, you're in my prayers.

ouch >.< are you going to have to pay just the 4,000 or the entire 31,000? The thing is though, it's just money. Easy for me to say, I know. But really, if you can manage to save about 300$ every month, it'll go away in no time. :) *hugs* Not to worry hon.

I've already paid over $600 and still have about $5,000 to go. Things are tight as it is, but I guess I'll get it paid off eventually. Thank god for insurance, they paid a little over $26,000. Granted I will still be racking up my shrink and family practice doctor bills. I think I'll have to put the cats on a diet though! :)

I guess I've taken a break from many things for a few weeks now... It has been nice and my "status" amoungst the medical community has improved...

Yet, I am back to the same position again. While I have been happier while doing my day to day tasks (like work), I find that I am becoming unhappy again with life in general. I don't so much "feel" it, but I see all the warning signs that the medical people warned me about.

I feel I am better and have been, but I see the same pattern developing again and know the statistics....

I know not what else to say at this point.

When I start getting like that, I find a way to change my "life in general"....You know? Even if it's something as simple as rearranging the furniture and parting my hair on the other side lol. :D
Having a little bit of change here and there keeps things..I don't know..fresh? from feeling like they're stagnating?
So...I'll change the background on my computer, take a different route home from school or work, move things in my house around, draw something new and put it on my wall, change the way I look a little bit, putting on some new music and acting stupid with the cat....any little thing that's easy to change :)

Getting that text from you was really nice, hope you're doin' better!
