I believe the word "super" comes from Swedish (revealing my great knowledge about etymology), and in swedish the word means "to drink", in particular to drink a lot of alcohol, most likely the stronger stuff. And that's what super-mod comes from. It's a moderator who just sits and gets drunk and post stupid stuff...
Hmm...so you mean I've been a super-mod all along and was oblivious to it (likely as a result of alcohol consumption).
