a little known aspect of the word 'antichrist' is that it is Greek.
anti means NEW or IN PLACE OF or REPLACEMENT
in ancient Jewish lore both Satan and Christ are offices or roles
not a being/man/spirit

so the antichrist is the replacement, the new avatar to take the office, as would be the antisatan
the initiate, the new guy.

666 or 616 is said to be the number of this man.
a man lesser educated people are trained to despise through superficial judgment.
this would explain why a messiah would be murdered, people not understanding he is the chosen initiate
to take over the role, and in fundamentalist thinking confusing good with evil.

hating the one chosen to care for them
and killing him.

Specifically, it refers to the time 661 CE, 666 years after the birth of Christ, when the first beast corrupted Islam!

In one of my bibles....

In another....
666 is the number of a certain man.

There's a difference, as the reading will send you in different directions...
seeking different signs.
