No Valuables In Checked Luggage Please

zenzero

Its only a Label
Friends,

It is understandable if this is happening in developing and un-developed countries but if in US???
It simply means do not judge the book by its cover!
Be conscious at all times. Be here-now!

Were it not such a terrible imposition, I'd wish that they hire you to handle baggage.
You'd be a good role model for them.

Anyone who puts $160K worth of jewelry in checked luggage is an idiot.

I've never put anything precious to me for its monetary or sentimental value either one in my checked bag. If it can't go in my carryon tote, in a pocket or a security pouch worn under my clothing, it stays at home.

I've had to fly for my auto racing shenanigans a few times, but I know that my helmet is technically larger than the carry-on limit, but since clothing isn't subject to those size restrictions, when I finally do ger challenged on it, I'm going to call my helmet a hat and wear it for the flight. :D

That's one thing that I would never, ever put in checked baggage.

Valuables always go with me on my person. I keep my bags so that I could, theoretically, lose what I check and keep what I carry. Mostly because I've had baggage get lost before.

And also because if anyone wants to steal from me their going to have to fight for it. And should they be so daring, they'll find that they would have been better off not stealing from me.
