I agree! Excellent choice. I'd have to throw on "My Aeroplane" from One Hot Minute too. I still LOVE that song! Flea's bass playing always hits just the right spot.

Ok, I'll give this a try. And I'll attempt to not make it too long.

The Ramones - Self Titled
Social Distortion - Self Titled
The Germs - GI
Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde
Motley Crue - Dr Feelgood
David Bowie - Aladdin Sane
Buddy Holly - The Buddy Holly Story
New York Dolls - Self Titled
Stray Cats - Built for Speed
Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison
The Dead Boys - Night of the Living Dead Boys
Circle Jerks - Group Sex

...That's all my tired mind can think of at the moment, but I'll add more.

Nice list Circle_One. I find I am more inclined to go with "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" though. Aladdin Sane was a great album though. Gotta love Mick Ronson's guitar work. :)

Thank you :)

See, I think most people would be more inclined to go with Ziggy. Even non Bowie fans know of Ziggy, which is why I chose to put Aladdin Sane on my list. Gotta mix it up a little ;)

Ah, that is true. I still remember when the album came out in late 1970. It was so different from anything else before it. Rock'n'Roll Suicide is still a personal fave. Another under-rated Bowie number is The Bewlay Brothers from Hunky Dory. A great tune. I rather liked Low and Heroes as well as they were certainly a departure for him and his band.

Harsh dude lol, linkin park are the biggest nu metal band still around.
Limp bizkit and papa roach didn't survive the fallout!

I'm nervous about LP's new album though just as I was about Meteora but I was wrong about that and it was a great album! No where near as good a hybrid theory though!

I like Linkin Park. :)

"Hybrid Theory" is a CD we actually don't have, so it looks like Mystic's going shopping soon to add to our music library. *grin*

Don't worry about being an Elitist, Rev. I'm a total music elitist and am damn proud of it :D

As for Linkin Park, I'm on the same page as you. The singer's a hottie, but reeeeaalllly not a fan of the music.

My bad Rev, I just took for granted that you were older. Appologies :D

Diferent strokes for different folks. I like LP just because they get me pumped up and it's not particularly the words but the beat and guitar riffs.
