Meditation for dummies

I see. But keep this in mind when trying to get mind and body working together. It's a little trick I learned studying martial arts: You will not succeed at anything if you do not make it your own. You need to realize that perhaps thousands of individuals have succeed using the techniques you are following, but those thousands of individuals had to find out how to make those techniques unique to them and infuse the techniques with their own purpose. Yes, someone may show and explain how and why something works, but you must make each moment your own and see things through your own eyes and make it your own; forget about everyone else, everything else, that it has been around for centuries and has "worked" for so many others. Forget all of that and everyone/thing, make it your own with only you and the universe and go from there. Make it personal, then release the person.

Its only a Label
Friends,

Have you seen young toddlers 6 months upwards swimming?
They swim as if they were born in water.
Why?
Because it is an human instinct which we have forgotten until we jump in the water.
None can teach us swimming, no techniques comes first as survival is instinctive and we learn to throw our hands and legs and surface, thereafter we observe and learn to do better.
Similarly we are born with the meditative instinct which we never exercised. It is just there waiting for each of us to take the JUMP!
Jump first and then *think* about It. Not "think before you jump", that is what techniques are.
