What you do not seem to realize is that the behavior of Trump supporters made the story sound plausible.

I think what you mean is according to the narrative pushes about Trump supporters.

If Trump supporters alleged behaviours are that way then people wouldn't have to invent attacks.

No, no "narrative" needed. Not every Trump supporter is a racist, but the man has far more than his share.

In the past two months we have had two major Trump related "racist " stories come out first one being the MAGA hat wearing teens mock tribal elders which CNN apologized for later because of the misleading coverage. Now we have the Jussie story which may very well have been a hoax.

Vs.

One confirmed case of an anti -Trumpeteer pulling a gun a nd threatening someone's life because they were wearing a MAGA hat.

Are you forgetting the neo-Nazi rally that ended up with an anti-Trump supported being killed? Or that hate crimes, mainly by likely Trump supporters, has peaked for three years in a row?

FBI report shows spike in hate crimes for 3rd year in a row

Careful cherry picking allows one to ignore the obvious.

"Mainly by likely Trump supporters" is more than a little fast and loose with the truth. It would be interesting to see each individual reported case of a hate crime and what the outcome was as to it's veracity. Actual White supremacists hate Trump as they see him as a globalist that "surrounds himself with k*kes"

The problem with drinking the Trump Kool-Aid is a separation from reality.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
If a man pulled a gun on another with no other provocation than a MAGA hat I'd say he was definitely dangerous, if not demented.

I'd like some more information on the confrontation, though. Hard to believe someone would pull a gun just cause someone was wearing a politically opposing hat.
Basic bully tactic. Do everything you can to escalate a situation, then when the other guy snaps, cry persecution, while carefully omitting any mention of the circumstances of the lead up.

Love the double standard. Any given example of a Trumpette acting in an unarguably dangerous manner towards non-Trumpettes, and the other Trumpettes rush to distance themselves from him, claiming it's an isolated example and non-Trumpettes are taking it out of context..

Any example of a non-Trumpette acting in an unarguably dangerous manner towards Trumpettes? "ZOMG! Trump haters are dangerous! We're so hard done by! Why does everyone treat us so unfairly?"

also noted in a small town of Texas.....sorry to have forgotten the name

they passed a no carry law
too many people seen in bars.....with guns

then the influx of wounded filled the e.r.

seems like....no gun ......no hesitation
hit that guy
use whatever
no need to be polite
just hit him
a lot

so the law was repealed

peace restored

It's times like these I become sure the US exists in a different dimension.

Someone pulling a gun when there is no apparent danger is a problem. Full stop.
I could care less who they vote for.

A man “flipped off’ a man in a Sam’s Club store because he was wearing a MAGA (Make America Great Again, Trump campaign slogan) hat. He then pulled a Glock pistol on the man and his wife.
He probably was trying to steal the hat.

The problem with drinking the Trump Kool-Aid is a separation from reality.

So no specifics on the alleged hate crimes? If you have no specifics then you cannot logically state that "most likely Trump supporters" are responsible for the increases. The irony of the prosecution of hate crimes in the U.S. is that many times the people that hate crimes laws were meant to protect are the very same laws that were used against them when they committed hate crimes against another group. We saw in Europe a large rise in anti-Semitic hate crimes which was initially blamed on neo-Nazis and the far right, upon closer examination it was revealed that the vast majority of hate crimes against Jews were perpetrated by Muslims.
Kool-aid indeed

Man accused of pulling gun on victim wearing MAGA hat
Clearly a socialist Democrat pinko commie who doesn't care about freedom of speech. *Grin*

Seriously though, I agree with the rest that this man shouldn't be walking around carrying firearms. He's clearly got issues.

Note that in the story, the only source for the key claim that the MAGA hat guy did nothing to cause the altercation is the MAGA hat guy himself.

Also notice that after the MAGA hat guy allegedly had a gun pulled on him in the store, he followed the gunman outside for another verbal exchange. This does not seem to me to be the actions of someone who was fearing for his life.
