Jesus: The Missing Years in the East

Next up...

more stuff that points to a Jesus going Eastward....
ooooh! how exciting!

Captured by Hitler with Oliver Twist in the tower
Guards say, "Here's pens and paper, just sit down and work for an hour"
Oh, goodness, how can we escape? But it's not worthwhile
All I can do is smile

Down gallons of glandular corridors of the dark castle
The pompous old bellman is tolling one bell
At bath time there's hippies in chains, they are crossing the hall
Where Hitler is making his new film about it all

We slip trough a pew and escape, but I just don't know
All I can do is grow

Tell me more, what then

Down Main Street I go on a duffel-coat hoping instead
For a little room, yawn, I'm so tired with this big bag of coal on my head
It's a top hat, I'm trying to sell or a lesson to learn
Vaguely seeking some fire to burn

While a whole group of middle aged persons with dwarfish expressions
And tinned conversations in Sunday blessed blue
Standing around for a photograph, watch the cuckoo
Do you need any coal? But it doesn't appear that they do

Then I offered my throat to the wolf, but I just can't die
All I can do is fly

Tell me more, what then

Safe and secure in the skirts of the midsummer wood
Cooking soup with stale words and fresh meanings, it tastes so good
The green wolf with his bunch of red roses is slinking away
All on a summer's day

Another piece of the puzzle?....

Bhavishya Maha Purana (115 AD)

The Bahavishya Maha Purana is a document written in Sanskrit.
The words of the 'wise teacher' are highlighted in red. Is he Jesus?

"...One day, Shalivahan, the chief ot the Sakyas, went into the Himalayas. There, in the Land of the Hun (Ladakh, a part of the Kushan empire), the powerful king saw a man sitting on a mountain, who seemed to promise auspiciousness. His skin was fair and he wore white garments.

"The king asked the holy man who he was. The other replied: 'I am called a son of God, born of a virgin, minister of the non-believers, relentless in search of the truth.' The king then asked him: 'What is your religion?' The other replied, 'O great king, I come from a foreign country, where there is no longer truth and where evil knows no bounds. In the land of the non-believers, I appeared as the Messiah. But the demon Ihamasi of the barbarians (dasyu) manifested herself in a terrible form; I was delivered unto her in the manner of the non-believers and ended in Ihamasi's realm.'

"'O king, lend your ear to the religion that I brought unto the non-believers: after the purification of the essence and the impure body and after seeking refuge in the prayers of the Naigama, man will pray to the Eternal. Through justice, truth, meditation and unity of spirit, man will find his way to Isa in the center of light. God, as firm as the sun, will finally unite the spirit of all wandering beings in himself. Thus, O king, Ihamasi will be destroyed; and the blissful image if Isa, the giver of happiness, will remain forever in the heart; and I was called Isa-Masih.' After the king heard these words, he took the teacher of the non-believers and sent him to their pitiless land."

Bhavishya Maha Purana (115 AD)

However, it seems a portion of this document claiming that Jesus was buried in Kashmir is being called a hoax:

Did you know that the original Aramaic name is, phonetically, Rusty Hairy Monkey Nuts? Yes, crucified on a tadpole in southern Oregon Territory in 1492. Stuffed in the cockpit of a C-32 on the sea floor, annotated in the unholy journals of Derabet in Shreveport. Boiling those nuts on the inside of a Pringles can. Resurrected on any day but the third, because whatever the church says is automatically wrong.

The historical Rusty Hairy Monkey Nuts soaked his thong in bleach for 87 hours after which time - upon return from deep beneath the surface of Mars - he base jumped off of a four story building and hit the ground before the chute deployed. He was OK but Bob Barker, who was riding shotgun.

See more for $599.99.

Finally someone who can bring order and good sense to the Jesu -- I mean, the Rusty Hairy Monkey Nuts story!

I'm going to quit thinking now and just sit at your feet, nodding.

I suggest you quit now before this vapid and inane attempt at appearing clever makes an utter fool of you....just sayin'...

You misread me in the worst possible way.

I don't understand how you could have mistaken that for "vapid." I agree that it's inane, and that was the point.

Right....over 99.9% accurate.

Exactly how much over 99.9% is it?

Seriously, the number itself betrays the lie. There is no 100%, however you quantify it, but at least you assume that you have more than 99.9% of all the texts that were written or could possibly be authoritative, and we can't know how many of these texts existed. Even then, the Aramaic that you're pandering doesn't even exist. So the liar who made up the lie first fabricated the Aramaic whole cloth, then made up stupid statistics to support it. He is a liar. Every time you take a leap over these giant chasms, the margin of error grows.

Anyway, I'd like Ewoks to do my gardening.

Copies of one Pe****ta to the next are over 99.xx% accurate. There several hundred of them.

Copies of Greek texts vary greatly from one to the other. There are over 2200 of them. Seems they just could'nt get it right.

Maybe that's why they found the Codex Sinaiticus in a dumpster.

You missed the number of texts by about 25k. Give or take.

You still haven't explained how you measure accuracy when there is no standard by which to judge. You do realize, of course that you cannot judge if something is accurate without measuring it against a constant.

Another hint that someone is lying to you - the rejection of any standard of proof. So he can make up the text and give you impossible numbers and all is well with the world.

I assume by 'texts' you mean mss. I must have used the wrong terminology. I meant the number of full translations of the Bible.

Anyway, the Codex Sinaiticus is quite a mess. Personally, I place more trust in the few copies of Pe****ta that agree with one another, rather than a profuse number of Greek-based NT's which not only disagree one with the other, but show unmistakeable signs of fraudulent tampering, omission, and revision.

This discussion needs to be continued on the Aramaic/Greek primacy thread.

More on Christ as solar deity:

"The Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in his wings."

This scripture in Malachi is perceived as a reference to the coming messiah, Jesus Christ. In this regard, this clearly solar appellation "Sun of Righteousness" is repeated many times by early Church fathers as being applicable to Christ.

New Testament Solar Imagery

In the Gospel of Luke (1:78), Christ's very advent is depicted as a visitation from the "dayspring on high":

"Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us..."

The word for "dayspring" or "day" in the original Greek is ἀνατολή or anatole, which means "sunrise, east." In reference to this scripture, Rev. Matthew Henry states:

"Christ is the Morning Light, the rising Sun, Mal. 4:2." (Jenkins, 417)

Jesus Christ as the Sun God throughout History

....which is yet more that points to the East as the source of wisdom.....just sayin'...

Hadn't thought of that, but yes, I was an altar boy and there was this ceremony/procession where the host was removed from the Tabernacle, transferred to the solar monstrance, and then walked around by the priest amongst the congregation for public view.

In the 18th century, French scholar Charles Francois Dupuis, a professor at the College de France, produced his multivolume book "Origines de tous les cultes,"

"We are not the only ones, nor the first, who have this idea of the religion of the Christians. Their apologist Tertullian, agrees, that from the earliest days of the introduction of this religion in the West, the more enlightened men, who had examined into it, pronounced it to be merely a sect of the Mithraic religion, and that the God of the Christians like that of the Persians, was the Sun. In Christianism there were sundry practices remarked, which betrayed that origin; the Christians never said their prayers, without facing the East, or that part of the World, whence the sun rises. All their temples, or all their religious meeting houses were anciently facing the rising Sun. Their holy days in each week had reference to the day of the Sun, called Sunday, or the day of the Lord Sun.... All these practices derived their origin from the very nature of their religion."

I wonder if that had anything to do with them being Jews who normally prayed towards Jerusalem, seeing as he was in North Africa and all.

You guys TOTALLY have it wrong.

Jesus went to JAPAN, not India!

The proof is totally right here. Totally.

Tomb of Jesus in Japan

I respected all your posts...... and then.... this ^^^^

Any Cornishman can tell you that Jesus went to Cornwall with Joseph of A, both before his mission and after his (failed) execution. He ran a tin mine.
Look..... walk into any Cornish Pub, buy everybody a drink and then ask the assembly (the place will be full) for their secrets about Jesus. Then, and only then, will the truth be slowly revealed to you. Be patient. The more drinks you buy, so the more clear and detailed will be the evidence.

No need for Jesus to travel to the east to learn wisdom. The wise men from the east came to him when he was young. :D (It's right there in the gospels, in the Pe****ta, the Greek, and every other language the gospels have been translated into.)
