Is Iraq justified is expelling U.S. forces?

Now watch for the resurgence of ISIS since our troops will now have to motivate for defense, not offence. Terrorist groups thrive on instability.
Did you have the same opinion when the Obama was President?????

This is more like being asked to leave a party after you assassinated one of the other guests.

I'd never been to a party where most of the attendees oppress women or persecute non-Muslims.

If the Iraqi people choose to be dominated by Iran instead of having the good ole' U.S. take care of them., then there's certainly no point for American troops to be there. As far as any resurgence of ISIS in the Middle East, that'd be more of a threat to Middle Easterners or Europeans than to us North Americans, so then we should perhaps agree to let them who live closest to the remnants of ISIS deal with them.

I can't imagine other countries using the US as a battleground for their fights.

Actually, other countries did at first, since various European nations sent explorers, ships, and settlers to stake their claim and ended up fighting each other over it. Of course, that changed over the years as America gained independence and grew strong enough.

Nowadays, other countries may not want to use the US as a battleground for their fights, but they seem to want to use us as some kind of "champion" to fight their wars for them. And there also seems to be some kind of battle for influence among various foreign powers having dealings with our government.

Like being asked to leave a party you'd broken into, killed the homeowner and held the guests hostage at gunpoint.

Iraq has been infiltrated by militant Iranians who oppress women and persecute non-Muslims, and these crazed Iranians have brainwashed many Iraqis into refusing themselves to be liberated by the American military.

"Liberated by the American military?" Would this be the American military that suddenly and ruthlessly attacked Iraq in March of '03;? the "liberators" who invaded and occupied Iraq on mendacious pretenses, liberated a million people of their lives, destabilized the region and laid the foundation for 17 years of regional war and turmoil?

Perhaps if the US hadn't previously installed an exploitative puppet in Iran the "oppressive Iranians" would still look like these from the '70s: 1970's baghdad photos pictures at DuckDuckGo
Note the "oppressed women."

Funny how America's worldwide promotion of freedom and democracy always seems to have unintended consequences down the road....

I think we're losing that battle for influence. Our diplomatic corps in on the ropes or non existent and Trump has no competent legal advice.

If we have a war with Iran, we have no allies.

LOLOLOL.

Trump also droned an Iraqi general on Iraqi soil when he blew up Soliemani.. against ALL agreements we have with Iraq.

This is idiocy.

Yes.

His drawing a "red line" and then not doing anything about it when it was crossed very much hurt his credibility. Also, his leaving Iraq prematurely set up a resurgence of ISIS. Also, his excessive use of drone strikes in his first term was wrong-headed at times because upsetting the civilian population through their casualties just made him and us look like uncaring bullies, and only the amoral like and support bullies.

Thus, I am not anywhere near as partisan as some here are.
