This was posted on the Ron Paul website, with a statement showing how Iran is totally at fault.
They had the nerve to place their country right in the middle of 35 American military bases.

Not insane, psychopathic. There is nothing in this world can change or deter what they do, no losses or deaths, no threats.

Ooh! I have a response.

It only shows that Iran was probably shooting at something else and missed.

I posted this very same map in post #17 of the RF thread titled Iran-US War heats up.

Iran-US War heats up

I posted this map in order to show how Iran should be now be considered as a clear and present danger to American troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, the Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

Can you look at that map and put yourself in the position of Iranian leaders? People who have survived decades of USA assaults, like the US/Iraqi invasion of the 80s? People who remember clearly when our President put them on a short hit list, the Axis of Evil, and then started invading the weakest country on the list?

Then ask yourself if you would consider having a nuclear deterrent worth a lot of trouble and risk?

WWMRD?
problem that he did not start removing them out of there ...

The problems started over ~70 years ago I think, since then we have had numerous administrations republican and democrat. Sometimes the host countries were /are glad we are there, some aren't so happy It's been a mess for decades and Trumps been in less than four years.

Of course I would, but then again I wouldn't be going about threatening to annihilate other countries with them. Would you be comfortable with Iran having nuclear weapons?

If Iran were to just officially recognize the state of Israel, and if Iran were to end its oppression of women as well as cease its religious persecution against non-Muslims, then I reckon there'd hardly be any opposition towards Iran having some nuclear deterrent.

I'll summarize your post....
Iran is now completely surrounded by our military bases.
How dare they!

Clearly, feminists & Jews are the aggressors here.

Some sarcasm above.

Only 70 years? Doesn't the Sykes-Picot treaty date from 1916?
Of course, Napoleon was riding roughshod over the region even before that.

I think you've got this bass-ackwards. If a dozen heavily armed gang members surrounded your house, who's the aggressor; who's being threatened?
The Americans are thousands of Km from home. They were not invited. They are not there as friends.
Who constitutes the clear and present danger?

Maybe if the Zionist state of Israel wasn’t the oppressor of the entire Middle East. And maybe if the world’s bully wasn’t spending trillions of dollars building things to kill people, then there might me peace on earth. But that’s another story.

I have visited Iran a number of times, and didn’t notice alleged oppression of women that you speak of. I lived in the Middle east for quite a few years, and traveled throughout the area (not Israel), and I found the people there to be quite wonderful. Perhaps you should do some research of what life is really like there. But that’s another story.
